We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this dear colleague who is seeking a new job. Father, we know that You have a perfect plan for each of Your children, and we trust that You will guide her to a position that not only utilizes her talents and skills but also aligns with Your will for her life. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut and close those that are not in her best interest.
Lord, we pray that You would give her peace and patience as she waits on You. Remind her that Your timing is perfect and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are her provider and sustainer.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as she seeks new opportunities. May she seek Your guidance in every decision, leaning not on her own understanding but acknowledging You in all her ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Father, we ask that You would surround her with godly counsel and mentors who can offer wisdom and support during this time.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37) and that she can do all things through Him who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13). Let her heart be filled with hope and confidence in Your promises.
Father, we also lift up her current workplace. If there are any unresolved issues or conflicts, we ask that You bring healing and resolution. Give her the grace to finish well and to leave with a spirit of peace and goodwill.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that this transition would draw her closer to You. May she seek Your face more than any job or position, knowing that true fulfillment comes from a relationship with You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
We encourage you to remind your colleague to seek the Lord first in all things, for He promises that when we do, all these things—including the desires of our hearts—will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). May she find comfort in knowing that God cares deeply about every detail of her life and has a plan to prosper her and not to harm her, to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in her (Philippians 1:6).
