Prayer for clearing my debts

However, being in debt can feel overwhelming, and God wants us to be free from such burdens. In Psalm 37:21, WEB, it is written, "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." This verse highlights the importance of paying back what we owe, and it is our responsibility to manage our finances wisely and honestly.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with debts and loans. Lord, we know that You are a God of provision and abundance. We pray that You will guide them in their journey to financial freedom. Help them to manage their finances wisely, according to Your will. Open doors for opportunities that will enable them to pay off their debts. Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for them during this stressful time. Help them to keep their focus on You, trusting that You will provide for all their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Additionally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and financial advice to help you manage your debts. Consider speaking with a financial advisor or a non-profit credit counseling agency that can provide you with practical steps to pay off your loans.
