I want to first say that I know that I am very fortunate to have 3 healthy, beautiful girls that have given my wife and I more joy in watching them grow up than I could ever describe. Just Saturday, my wife and I found out that she is pregnant. We are excited, but the thought of having a 4th child is a little scary to say the least. As I stated before, I know I am very fortunate to already have 3 healthy children when there are people all over the world that can't have children or that have children born with various sickenesses/illnesses/disabilities. However, I have prayed, will continue to pray, and I am asking YOU to pray that my wife and I will have a son. Although this may sound selfish (amongst other things), I have a genuine reason why I would love to have a son. I lost my brother in September when he was shot and killed by an intruder who broke into his house and my brother came home while the man was still in the home. My brother was a local DJ on a Christian radio station and was a man on fire for God. My brother's death caused my whole family to re-evaluate our own lives and it has changed our collective relationships with God tremendously. I said that if God would give me a son, I would give him back to God and raise him to be the man that my brother was and that I am trying to be. I just pray that God grants me this prayer and that all that read this will pray for me and my family. Thank you and God bless.

I humbly pray to God that you enjoy many years with your newest family member, and that she may bring you pride and happiness throughout your lives. In Jesus' name, AMEN!

Lord God, we pray this day for Your will to be done. Thank You that this tragic loss of a young man with such a bright future has provided fruit within Your kingdom. It is never easy to let go of those we love, but if our lives are changed for the better, if we gain some wisdom or knowledge from such an event, we must praise You for loving us enough to lead us through. I praise You for this new life growing inside this woman. Regardless of its sex, this child can be raised to know and love You, to further the dream this man was living in glorifying You. I pray for Your blessings over this family, for a safe and healthy pregnancy, for peace and joy that know no bounds. In the name of Jesus, praise You for being so near. Amen.

Jesus I pray that Your will may be done in this situation. Son or daughter, this new child can be raised to love You and worship You and live for You. A son would not be a replacement for the tragic loss of this man's brother as You made each of us individual and no two of us are the same. Please let this man love his new child unconditionally, whether it is female or male. Please comfort this whole family in their grief for their brother. In Your holy name I pray, Amen.

I Pray that God's Plan will be everything and more to you and that you will see why and the scared feeling will be replaced with understanding. Amen
