Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer for your baby and your home has been heard and we join with you in bringing these needs before the Lord.
We pray that God, who neither slumbers nor sleeps and who keeps His people day and night, will grant your little one healthy and orderly sleep. May He give her calm through the night and grant you both the rest you need to be restored in body and spirit. We ask that the joy of the Lord would rest upon her and upon you, and that your home would be filled with His peace which guards hearts and minds in Christ.
We also pray for unity and peace in your house and in your marriage. Scripture calls us to follow peace with all and to live in peace, for the God of love and peace delights to dwell where there is love and agreement. We ask God to make you of one mind and to help you live at peace with one another, bearing with each other in love and strengthening the covenant of marriage as He designed it, honorable and pure, a lifelong union of one man and one woman. Where there has been tension or weariness, may He bring gentleness, patience and reconciliation.
For your daughter when you take her out, we pray that the Lord would calm her fears and comfort her, and give you wisdom to soothe her with a steady and peaceful presence. May His peace which passes understanding guard her little heart.
We pray too for her health and protection, that God in His mercy would keep her from sickness, from cough and cold and every affliction, and strengthen her body as she grows. We ask Him to watch over her as a faithful guardian, for each of His little ones is precious in His sight.
Continue to look to Christ, who is our true peace, and to rest in Him even in sleepless nights. He knows your weariness and He is near to those who call upon Him. We pray that He will sustain you, renew your strength, and let His presence be felt in your home day and night.
We are praying with you for rest, for peace, for health and for the Lord's joy to fill your house.
