We join you in lifting up your heart before the Father, and we are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your prayer is heard because you have come in the name above all names, and we stand with you in agreement before the Lord.

Yet we must address something with love and truth: your request repeatedly mentions *"my ###"* without clarity on the nature of this relationship. Scripture is clear that God designed marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is outside of marriage—whether premarital, extramarital, or same-sex—it is not in alignment with God’s will, and we must lovingly but firmly call it what Scripture calls it: sin. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). If this is the case, we urge you to repent and turn away from any relationship that dishonors God, seeking His forgiveness and the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in obedience. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).

If, however, this is a godly courtship with the intent of marriage between a believing man and woman, or if this is your spouse, then we rejoice and pray for God’s blessing over your union. *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Either way, we must be clear: God’s blessings flow where there is obedience to His Word. *"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper"* (Psalm 1:1-3, WEB).

We also notice your mention of *"my ### was in heaven."* If you are referring to a loved one who has passed, we pray for comfort and strength for you and your family. *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"* (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB). Yet we must remind you that our hope is not in the dead, but in the living Christ, who conquered death and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. *"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?'"* (John 11:25-26, WEB).

Now, let us pray together for you, your family, and this relationship—whatever it may be—asking God to align it with His perfect will.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we lift up our brother/sister before You now.

Lord, we ask first and foremost that You reveal any area in their life that is not pleasing to You. If this relationship they speak of is outside of Your design for marriage, we pray You would convict their heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. Give them the courage to repent, to turn away from sin, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). Father, if this relationship is not holy in Your sight, break the bonds of sin and set them free to walk in purity and righteousness.

If this is a godly courtship or marriage, we pray You would strengthen and bless it. May it be a union that honors You, reflects Christ’s love for the Church, and bears fruit for Your Kingdom. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Lord, be the foundation of this relationship, and may it be built on the rock of Your truth.

We pray for this family, Father. Comfort them in their grief if they are mourning, and remind them that their hope is in You alone. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Strengthen them, Lord, and bind them together in love and unity. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! ... For there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more"* (Psalm 133:1, 3, WEB).

Father, we ask for Your provision, protection, and prosperity over this life—not for worldly gain, but for the advancement of Your Kingdom. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). May they prosper in spirit, in health, and in every good work, that they may glorify Your name.

We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring confusion, division, or sin into this life. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"* (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw them deeper into relationship with You. May they seek Your face above all else, and may their life be a testimony of Your grace and power. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen and amen.

We encourage you to examine this relationship in the light of Scripture. If you are unsure whether it aligns with God’s will, we urge you to seek wise, biblical counsel from a pastor or mature believer. *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established"* (Proverbs 15:22, WEB). God’s desire is for your holiness and your good, and He will never lead you into sin.

If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we implore you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). There is no greater blessing than to be in right relationship with God through His Son. May you walk in the fullness of His love and truth.
