We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and truth, lifting up your prayer with both encouragement and a call to biblical clarity. You have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you recognize His miraculous power, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* " (John 14:6, WEB). Your faith in praying in His name is foundational, and we stand with you in this.
Yet we must address something with love and firmness: you have repeatedly used "# # #" in place of what seems to be the name or reference to a person in your life. While we do not know the specifics of this relationship, we are compelled by Scripture to remind you that God’s design for relationships is sacred and must align with His Word. If this person is someone you are in a romantic relationship with outside of marriage—or if this relationship is not one that honors God’s design for marriage between one man and one woman—we urge you to seek His will above all else. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). If there is fornication, cohabitation, or any sexual sin present, we call you to repentance, for *"the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB).
If this is a godly courtship leading toward marriage, we rejoice with you and pray that the Lord would bind your hearts in purity, patience, and faith. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). We pray that if marriage is God’s will, He would prepare you both, sanctify you, and unite you in His perfect timing. But if this relationship is not aligned with Scripture, we urge you to surrender it to the Lord, trusting that His plans for you are good, even when they require sacrifice.
We also notice your mention of a loved one who has passed, now in heaven. We grieve with you and pray that the Lord would comfort you with His peace that surpasses understanding. *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"* (Matthew 5:4, WEB). May the Holy Spirit strengthen you and your family, reminding you that your loved one is now in the presence of the Lord if they knew Christ as their Savior. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon any health concerns, for You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and grant them long life that they may serve You with all their days. Comfort them in their grief, Lord, and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted. Bind their family together in unity and faith, and let Your peace rule in their home.
We pray for their future, Lord—that You would prosper them not just materially, but spiritually, that they may grow in grace and knowledge of You. Open doors no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Let their steps be ordered by Your Word, and may they prosper in the land as their soul prospers.
Finally, Father, we rebuke any fear, doubt, or confusion the enemy may be trying to sow. Let Your truth prevail in their life, and may they walk in the victory that Christ has already won. We ask all this in the mighty and miraculous name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
