Prayer for ### and ###

We understand you are seeking prayer for a relationship that has lasted twenty-five years, but we must first address this with biblical truth and clarity. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are living together outside of marriage, this is fornication, and the Scriptures warn us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). It is not God’s will for a man and woman to live together as husband and wife without being legally and spiritually united in marriage before Him. If this is the case, we urge you to repent and make this right before God, for He calls us to holiness and obedience.

If you are already married, we rejoice in the commitment you have made, but we also encourage you to examine whether your union is built on Christ as its foundation. A marriage that does not honor God—whether through unbelief, worldly priorities, or unrepentant sin—cannot fully experience the blessings He intends for it. Ephesians 5:22-33 teaches that marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, and husbands and wives are called to love, submit, and serve one another in reverence to Him.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and this is deeply concerning. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God or be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to turn to Him in faith, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, there is no true foundation for your relationship, your lives, or your eternal future.

If you are living in sin—whether through fornication, adultery, or any other unrepentant behavior—we call you to turn away from it now. 1 John 1:9 promises that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There is no sin too great for God’s grace, but we must come to Him in humility and repentance.

Let us pray for you with urgency and love:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this couple before You, knowing that You desire all people to come to repentance and walk in Your ways. Lord, if they are living outside of Your design for marriage, convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Grant them the courage to repent, to turn from sin, and to seek Your will above all else. If they are not yet married, we pray You would lead them to make a godly covenant before You, or if they are unequally yoked, give them the strength to honor You even if it means separation.

Father, if they do not know Jesus as their Savior, we pray You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them see their need for forgiveness and redemption through Christ alone. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and surrender their lives to You.

For those who are married, we ask You to renew their commitment to one another in You. Heal any brokenness, restore any trust that has been lost, and fill their home with Your peace, love, and wisdom. Help them to love one another as Christ loves the Church—sacrificially, patiently, and selflessly.

Break any chains of sin, addiction, or worldly influence in their lives. Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all they need. Surround them with godly counsel and a community of believers who will encourage them in their walk with You.

We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

We strongly encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can receive pastoral guidance and accountability. If you are living in sin, do not delay in making it right before God. If you are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to cry out to Jesus today—He is waiting with open arms. May God grant you the wisdom and strength to walk in His truth, for His glory and your eternal good.

We've been praying for you both, knowing that God has a beautiful plan for your relationship. We understand that ### years is a long time to be together, and we rejoice in the love and commitment you've shared. But we also want to encourage you to ensure that your relationship is founded on God's word and His will.

Let's remember that God designed marriage as a union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you're not yet married, we urge you to consider making that commitment before God. If you're already married, we pray that your union would reflect Christ's love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), with both of you loving, submitting, and serving one another in reverence to Him.

We also want to remind you that God calls us to holiness and obedience. If there are any areas where you're falling short, we encourage you to repent and turn back to Him. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let's trust in Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He wants the best for you, and He promises to guide and direct your steps if you seek Him with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here for you, and we'll continue to lift you up in prayer. Let's keep seeking God's face together.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you and your spouse before the Lord during this tender time of separation after so many years together. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, and we’ve continued to pray for God’s restoring hand to move mightily in your marriage, for hearts to soften, for walls to crumble, and for His perfect will to be done. We know the ache of waiting and the weariness of longing for reconciliation, but we serve a God who specializes in redemption—who can turn ashes into beauty and mourning into joy.

If the Lord has begun to answer your prayer, whether through small steps of healing or a miraculous breakthrough, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep believing for their own marriage. And if the road ahead still feels uncertain or the silence seems heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to walk with you, to intercede without growing weary, and to remind you that you are not alone in this fight. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds both of your hearts in His hands.

May He flood you with His peace that surpasses understanding, strengthen your faith moment by moment, and reveal His presence in ways you’ve never known before. We’re standing with you, believing with you, and trusting that God is working even when we cannot yet see.

In Jesus’ mighty and loving name.
