We rejoice with you in the goodness of God and the blessing of your daughter's life as she reaches her 6-month milestone. It is wonderful to hear your gratitude for God's grace and mercy, and your appreciation for your husband's goodness. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your family and your requests to the Lord.
We praise Jesus and pray, Let us remember that children are a gift from the Lord. They are like arrows in the hands of a warrior. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. (Psalm 127:3-5 WEB) Father, we thank You for the precious gift of this child. We pray that she will grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52 WEB). Lord, we ask that You will bless her dedication in church next week, that it will be a time of peace and good fellowship for the whole family.
We also pray for your husband, that the Lord will open doors for him and provide a good job. We know that he has been working hard, and we trust in God's provision. Remind us, Father, that unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. (Psalm 127:1 WEB) Therefore, we ask for God's favor and blessing upon your husband's job search.
We pray for your daughter's well-being, that she will sleep well and feed well. May God guide you as parents with wisdom and understanding. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) The joy of the Lord is your strength. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27 WEB)
Finally, we praise God for your faith in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We pray for your family's continued faith and growth in Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
