God it hurts so bad to argue with my dad
He gets mad and then I get mad
things get sad that hurt us both,
even knowing it all hurts, I still can't stop the arguing.
If he gets me mad and keeps arguing back I keep arguing with him.
I wish he would quit drinking.
He wishes I would shut up about me thinking that he would quit drinking.
Lord, what is it that you want me to do?
If I continue to go around him
I know I will sin by arguing with him
I don't want to sin because I want to be close to you,
I want to feel your spirit more.
I want to get him to really think about quitting drinking.
Lord, is it working?
I feel like crying a lot when I am around him,
there is this feeling that comes over me when he argues and such
that I don't want to ever feel again in my life.
I feel sorry for myself.
Father, continue to guide me through all that I say and do.
I don't know if everything that I have done tonight is right with you
and I pray that any wrong that I may have done will not harm one living soul
that my words and actions that were of the enemy will not take root into anyone's life
making them to think, say or do wrong things.
Lord, make me a vessel for your love.
Guide others through me
Talk through me. Work through me. Smile through me.
Show me miracles in your mighty mighty name.
Show me more than I have ever dreamed or imagined.
Get into my mind, heal it of all wrong thoughts including bitterness, anger, jealousy.
Get down deep deep into my soul.
Dig out weeds of bitterness, rage, anger, jealousy, greed and all other dirty weeds.
Pick them quickly and thoroughly.
Make me pretty and unique.
Show me how to love others the right ways.
Give me and my loved ones the lives that they have never had.
Show me how to win souls for you.
Show me how to dress for you, how to talk for you,
show me how you want things done in my life
FATHER,
be all to me that I have always wanted in a father.
Show me love that makes me cry
Give me the gift of your love so that I can go all over the world and love others with it.
Give me gifts to preach to the poor so that I can help others that I come across in my life.
Help me to be strong and know who I am
Show me how you want me to live.
Help me to obey you and do all that you say.
Teach me faith so that I may believe in you and in miracles more.
Give me a bigger heart with much more love for others and for myself.
Show me how to praise you,
how to speak in tongues,
how to lay hands on others.
Give me everything that you possibly can that will make me a better person.
Please, take away all the pain that the enemy has put into me and my loved ones' hearts.
Lord, my families are breaking up and separating
for holiday seasons and more
I pray that you will bring us closer than we have ever been.
Lord, in my mind, I would love to have the kind of family that wakes up on Christmas morning
telling the Story of Christmas, drinking alcohol-free egg nog and such,
I picture everyone standing around the piano singing Christmas carols,
With everyone holding their small children in their laps.
Everyone showing faces of love and adoration for each other
and for Christ.
I picture that gift time will be more special than ever
Most of all I see much much love.
God, your love is amazing.
I pray that I will stay in your favor forever.
Heal my depression and all other energy-draining psychological and emotional and spiritual problems,
help me to see who you are
and who I am in you.
Show me signs of what my future holds so that I may have more faith in things that I pray for.
Father,
let no one hurt or condemn my heart and mind and soul
Help me to feel complete and whole.
Show others what you have done in me
so that they will know that you can do it for them as well.
Father, I keep your name holy forever more.
