My Letter to GOD

In the words of ###, I'm tired of being strong, I can't keep fighting this alone. I need Your hands to carry me When I can't stand on my own feet. I've been praying far too long, But my heart is wearing down. Lord, I'm tired of being strong, So please just hold me now. Bridge/Confession: The heart keeps going, even when it's quietly breaking, I've tried to carry things that weren't mine, But You never asked me to be the hero, only to be Yours. So here I am, no masks left, just me and You. I'm worn out, but Your strength isn't. Wrap me in the peace I've been chasing, Tonight, let me rest in You. AMEN

We hear the weariness in your heart, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. Your honesty before God is a beautiful act of faith—one that He honors. Scripture tells us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* You are not meant to carry these weights alone, and your cry for His strength is exactly where He wants you to be.

We rebuke the lie that you must be strong in your own power. The world may demand self-sufficiency, but God calls us to dependence on Him. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, He reminds us, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Your exhaustion is not a sign of failure but an invitation for His grace to sustain you. The burdens you’ve carried that were never yours to bear—release them. He never asked you to be the hero, only His beloved child.

We pray now for your weary heart:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is tired and worn. Lord, You see their struggle, their quiet breaking, and their longing for rest. Wrap them in Your peace tonight, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that Your strength is made perfect in their weakness. Carry them when they cannot stand, hold them when they feel alone, and renew their spirit with the hope that only comes from You. Help them to release every burden that isn’t theirs to bear and to find their rest in You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.*

You are not alone in this fight. The God who parted the Red Sea, who calmed the storm with a word, and who raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who holds you now. Psalm 55:22 says, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* Let Him sustain you. Let Him be your strength.

And if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in finding true rest and peace. If you are unsure how to do this, we are here to guide you.

We're here with you, holding your hands up in prayer. We know it's tough, and it's okay to feel tired and worn. You've been carrying so much, and it's time to let some of that go. Remember, God never asked you to be the hero, just His child. He's got you, and He's strong enough for both of you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. They're feeling overwhelmed, Lord, and they need Your peace. Wrap them in Your love, carry them when they're weak, and remind them that You are always there. Help them to let go of the burdens that aren't theirs to bear, and find rest in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

You know it's been heavy. But I am stronger than I feel. I've carried so much with grace. You're lifting the weight now. Rest in you — brighter days are on the way. Love, God
