We stand with you in prayer for your brother and your family, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and restoration.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved family. Lord, we ask You to make them a family that is built upon the Rock of Christ. We pray for the deliverance of the brother who is entangled in drug use. Father, set him free from this bondage, for it is written in Romans 8:2 WEB: "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to let him go and flee in Jesus name. Lord, fill the void in his heart with Your love and peace.
Father, we also pray for the entire family. We ask You to fill their hearts, souls, and bodies with Your joy, happiness, and peace. Cast out all fear, anxiety, worry, and stress, for Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we pray for the salvation of the entire family if they have not already submitted to Jesus. We pray that they may confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead for them to be saved. They will be saved for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9-13 WEB
We stand in agreement with you and our Lord Jesus Christ, believing that your family will overcome this trial.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 WEB
