We join you in lifting up these individuals to the Lord, interceding that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and turn from their sins. It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the souls of those who do not yet know You. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, soften their hearts, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Grant them the gift of repentance that leads to life, and help them to turn away from their sins and submit to Your lordship.
Father, we lift up those who are in positions of influence, both in the public eye and in government. We ask that You surround them with godly counsel and grant them wisdom and discernment to lead righteously. May their hearts be turned to You, and may they use their platforms to glorify Your name.
We also lift up our loved ones who do not yet know You. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them in powerful ways, and that You draw them to Yourself with lovingkindness. Help us to be faithful witnesses, shining the light of Christ in our homes and communities.
Lord, we acknowledge that it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). Help us to be burdened for the lost and to be diligent in our prayers and witness. Give us opportunities to share the Gospel and the courage to speak the truth in love.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Let us remain steadfast in our intercession for the lost, trusting that God is faithful to answer our prayers according to His will. Continue to pray for all and always include the name of Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) when praying.
