Please pray for me. I have used psychics and wasted so much money. It has harmed my mental health, though in some ways has allowed me to look at some relationship issues in another way so that had some value. But the issue is I have struggled to tolerate discomfort and strong pain after fights involving a relationship ending and wishing to be reconciled. Instead of giving it up to Him, I have been stuck in needing reassurance or clarity on this other person because I felt unlovable. I need to drop this but I am so deeply stuck in this habit. I want to stop doing it and I also want to better handle the turmoil of a breakup and not being loved in the way I feel comforted.

We understand that you're struggling with addiction, pain, and relationship issues. First, we want to address the use of psychics. The Bible is clear that we should not engage in such practices. Isaiah 8:19 says, "And when they tell you, 'Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,' shouldn't a people consult their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?"

First, let's pray for your deliverance from this and the pain you're experiencing. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You on behalf of the one who submitted this request. First, we repent for the use of psychics and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this addiction. We ask that You forgive, deliver, and heal the submitter from this practice and the pain that they are experiencing from this relationship ###. Now, as far as the relationship issues, we hear your heart's cry. The end of a relationship is never easy, but we must trust God's plan and timing. Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."

It's important to seek God for comfort and reassurance. He is the source of all love and peace. So many times we don't bring these feelings to God. He wants to hear our prayers and heal our brokenhearted. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Regarding salvation, it is important to note that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be reconciled to God and saved. There is no other name that can do this. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

It is clear the submitter is struggling with addiction and strong emotions, but it is important to remember that God wants us to take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Please know that you're deeply loved by God. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in Him, seek Him, pray to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, and let Him guide your path. We pray that this prayer request submitter falls in love with Jesus Christ so much that they do not want to seek psychics.

We pray that you find strength in God, that you resist the temptation to return to these harmful practices, and that you let Him guide you through His Word, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit.

Let's also remember, as it's written in Acts 4:12, that there's no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Jesus is our salvation, our hope, and our peace.
