Prayer for a tender heart

Please raise my daughter this evening. She is such a tender hearted young woman, soon to be 21. Andrea is a Christian and has always been very moved by the Christmas and Easter seasons. This year, like me, she is going through her first Easter without my mom. She and her grandma were very close, and although she understands they will be reunited one day, the immediate realization that she is not here in the physical hits hard. On top of her very emotional state over this, she and her boyfriend of nearly a year have decided to stop seeing one another. They had plans to have a big celebration for her 21st birthday, so now that is off as well. My heart aches for her but I know God holds her close. Please pray for comfort and peace for her as she travels this emotional journey. Thank you dear family.

Heavenly Father, I lift Andrea up to you tonight. Please wash a wave of peace and comfort over her as she grieves for her grandmother and her broken relationship. Help her feel your presence and know that you are going through this with her. Let her understand that you are carrying her through this difficult time, even when she may feel her lonliest. In your Son's name. Amen.

Please comfort Andrea as she deals with two big losses. Father I pray You would minister to that deep sense of loss and loneliness, no longer having her grandmother to share with and hold. Help her to find the joy in their future reunion to look forward to. I pray she leans on You for comfort and guidance in the absence of her boyfriend as well. God I pray you will fill that gap with Your presence, with purpose, and even with a great birthday celebration with friends and family. Help her to trust in You, trust in Your amazing plan for her life and be comforted. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Lord, I stand in agreement with the prayers for Andrea. Bring her closer to You Lord and love her all day long. COmfort her of those losses. Strenghten her Father. Help her to give her burdens to You. Lord, comfort KJ also. THey both are going through a tough season but we know that her mom is there with You and that she is absolutely wonderful. Lord, I lift up Andrea and KJ and ask that You shower down Your blessings and love upon them. In Jesus' name. Amen
