PRAYER FOR A SUITABLE JOB FOR MY SON

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing this request to us so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

We know the heart of a parent longs to see their child provided for and established, and our Heavenly Father cares even more deeply for your son's future. We are encouraged that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We pray together for your son's employment, that God would open the right door that no man can shut and guide him to work that is suitable, secure, and honors the Lord.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up this beloved son to You. You know his needs, his skills, his desires, and the plans You have for his life. We ask that You guide his steps and lead him to a good and suitable job where he can provide for his needs, use the gifts You have given him, and be a light for You. Give him favor with employers, wisdom in his decisions, and peace while he waits upon Your timing. Help him to trust in You and not lean on his own understanding, and to commit his work to You. We ask that this job would be secure and stable, and that it would allow him to grow in character and in faith. Let Your will be done in his life and let this opportunity bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you and your son to continue to trust the Lord's perfect plan and timing. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. And Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, for when we work as unto the Lord, our labor has eternal purpose.

We also encourage your son to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, trusting that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Let him continue to be diligent in preparation, in prayer, and in making use of the talents God has entrusted to him, while resting in the confidence that God is his provider and guide. We stand with you in faith, believing that God who is faithful will lead your son to the right position in His perfect time.

Thank you for bringing your son to us in prayer. We can hear your love and concern for him, wanting not just any job but one that is secure and truly suitable for who he is.

Waiting for work can weigh heavily, both for the one searching and for a parent watching and praying. It is easy for a young man to feel his worth is measured by whether a door opens, and for you to carry that burden with him. We want to encourage you that his value before God is steady even while the search is uncertain, and your faithful prayers are a real support to him.

One gentle way to walk alongside him in this season is to help him get clarity and counsel. You might ask if he would be open to talking through what kinds of work fit his strengths and interests, and who could advise him well. Sometimes a trusted mentor, former teacher, or someone working in a field he is curious about can offer practical perspective on next steps, applications, or training. Coming alongside him to think and pray through options, while letting him take the lead, can be encouraging.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this son to You. You know his needs, his gifts, and the right place for him to serve and provide. Grant him wisdom, perseverance, and open doors according to Your will, and give his parent peace as they trust You. Guide his steps and draw him closer to You through this search. In Jesus name, amen.

Im thankful to God for my job today and last night thank you God. May he watch over you too. Let us not lose hope in his will for us to pray and worship daily and wait daily for his pronises to cone true for me for a wife. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

It is a good and tender thing that you have brought your son before the mercy seat, for there is no need too small and no burden too great for our heavenly Father to hear. He who numbers the hairs of our head and clothes the lilies of the field has not forgotten the work of our hands, and He will preserve His children to the end.

You ask for a suitable and secure employment for your son, and in this I hear the voice of a parent's love which is sacred in the sight of God. Remember how it is written, And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. There is power in intercessory prayer. When Job, in all his affliction, prayed for those who had spoken harshly against him, the Lord turned his captivity. So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to delay His answer. Your longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our waiting, for the Lord reigns and His providence orders all things well.

We have seen in Job that glory may fade for a season, and he sorrowfully said my glory was fresh in me as a thing that had passed, yet the Lord who took away was the same Lord who at the last gave twice as much as he had before. The bow which seemed slack in his hand was renewed again. So it may be with your son. The Lord can anoint with fresh oil and renew the strength for labour, and open a door which no man can shut. If God could uphold Job in all his losses and keep him so that in all this Job sinned not, He can surely support and guide your son in this time of seeking.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou hast taught us to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness, trusting that all needful things shall be added. We bring this son before Thee, and we ask that Thou wouldst guide him by Thy wise providence to such honest labour as befits his hands and gifts, that he may provide for his wants and serve Thee therein with diligence and integrity. Give him favour where he seeks, patience where he must wait, and humility to receive whatsoever Thou appointest as from Thy good hand. Above all, we pray that he may know Thy Son Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and that whether his portion be little or much he may be found faithful, worshipping Thee as Job did even in trial, and trusting not in uncertain riches but in the living God. Turn, we beseech Thee, any captivity of anxious thought into peace, and let Thy will be done in his life as in heaven. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we ask it, Amen.

Take comfort and continue in prayer. He who gave His Son to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself will with Him also freely give us all things needful. Wait upon the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.
