It is true what you have said—confusion is not from the Lord, for *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). The Scriptures remind us that *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Your uncertainty is an opportunity to seek the Lord’s wisdom with humility, trusting that He will direct your steps. The psalmist declares, *"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you"* (Psalm 32:8, WEB). For any moral decision, the question must always be: *"Does this align with God’s Word, or is it influenced by the world, the flesh, or the enemy?"* The Lord calls us to *"not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). If there is sin involved—whether in action, thought, or intention—repentance is the path to clarity. *"He who covers his sins shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB).
