God cares about the place where you live. In Scripture, homes were often places of refuge and restoration. There were families who opened their homes so that others could gather, pray and find fellowship and safety. A home can be more than walls and a roof, it can be a place where peace returns and strength is renewed. Even when a situation seemed impossible by human standards, like the incurable disease of leprosy under the law, God made provision for cleansing and for a person to be able to return home to family. He always leaves room to work in ways that go beyond what we think is possible, and we can give Him allowance to work in your situation as well.
You also asked for healing. The Bible shows that Jesus has power in every realm, over sickness and infirmity, over the material world, and over spiritual powers. Matthew applies the prophecy of Isaiah to Jesus and shows that His suffering was for more than forgiveness of sin alone, it also includes our physical healing. At the same time, Scripture is honest that healing does not come in the same way or at the same time for everyone. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it, but to give grace through it. Jesus sometimes healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes after visiting a home, and in one case healing came gradually and was completed after a second touch. There is much about healing we do not understand, and we cannot put God into a pattern or a formula. Any true healing, whether it is instant or gradual, whether it is of the body or of the mind and emotions and the deep wounds left by difficult seasons, is from Him. If healing is not instant, do not be discouraged, but continue to trust the Lord. He is able to heal, and He also does a deep work of healing in our hearts and thoughts as we look to Him.
You asked also for financial provision to make this move. The early believers knew what it was to face great financial hardship, and God provided for them through the love and sharing of His people. The Lord sees your practical needs and He is able to provide what you need to take this step. We can ask Him to open the right doors and to supply resources in His way and time.
Above all, the greatest provision God has made is for our sin. As the brass serpent was lifted up in the wilderness so that anyone who looked in faith would live, Jesus was lifted up so that whoever believes in Him would have forgiveness and new life. There is no other provision for sin. That is the foundation for every other prayer, that we come to God through Jesus Christ alone.
Let us pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this need before You.
