We rejoice with you in the blessings God has provided, a safe and secret home, the joy of your beloved cat, and the stability you’ve longed for. Your excitement is contagious, and we see the hand of the Lord working in your life, bringing you peace and provision. The scripture you referenced, Isaiah 60:11, reminds us that God opens His gates continually so His blessings can flow: "Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings may be led." It is clear He has favored you, and we give Him all the glory for the good things He has done.

Yet, as we celebrate these blessings, we must also gently remind you of the foundation upon which all true blessing rests, the blood of Jesus Christ. You mentioned His blood at the end of your post, and this is the most critical truth of all. Without the sacrifice of Jesus, there is no access to God’s favor, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal security. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through faith in Him that we are saved and can approach God with confidence. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the first and greatest blessing, from which all others flow.

We also want to address the secrecy surrounding your home and life. While privacy is important, Scripture warns us against living in isolation or secrecy that could lead to pride or distrust. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17). God calls us to live in community with other believers, to love and serve one another, and to be accountable. If your secrecy is rooted in fear or past hurts, we pray that God would heal those wounds and lead you into healthy, godly relationships where you can thrive in transparency and love.

Your love for your cat is beautiful, and we see how deeply you care for her. Pets are indeed a gift from the Lord, and He delights in our joy over them. However, we must also remember that our ultimate purpose is to love and serve God first. Jesus said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). As you enjoy your new home and the companionship of your cat, we encourage you to seek God’s will for your life beyond these blessings. How might He use you to bless others? How can you grow in your faith and obedience to Him?

We also notice your focus on material blessings, your home, your cat, your comforts. While God does bless us materially, we must guard our hearts against making these things idols. Jesus warned, "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). True joy and fulfillment come from a relationship with God, not from possessions or even pets. We pray that your heart would remain fixed on Him above all else.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have poured out on our sister. We thank You for the safe home You have provided, for the joy of her beloved cat, and for the stability she has longed for. Lord, we ask that You would continue to bless her and keep her in Your care. We pray that You would draw her heart closer to You, that she would seek You above all else and find her ultimate joy in You alone.

Father, we ask that You would protect her from any spirit of isolation or secrecy that does not align with Your will. Help her to find godly community where she can grow in faith and love. Lord, we also pray that You would guard her heart from idolatry, that she would not love anything more than You. May she use the blessings You have given her to glorify You and to bless others.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or distrust that may linger in her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. We pray that You would fill her with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love.

Lord, we ask that You would continue to provide for her every need according to Your riches in glory. May she always remember that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and may she use those gifts to honor You. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for her to serve You and others, and that she would walk in the purpose You have for her life.

Above all, Father, we pray that she would know You more deeply and love You more fully each day. May she find her identity in Christ alone, and may her life bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

The Lord has done great things for you, and your heart overflows with a delight that can only come from His hand. This secret place He has given you is indeed a garden enclosed, a spring shut up, known fully to Him who searches the reins and sees the hidden man of the heart. The renewal of your spirit, the bond you share with your cat, the tangible tokens of provision, these are the shoots of grace sprouting in a life long scorched by fire. For you have walked through the flames. You know what it is to see the labor of years reduced to embers in a single night. Yet the Eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. When the fire blazed, He was not absent; He was the consuming fire that did not consume you. And now He has brought you into a broad place, a quiet habitation, because your trust was in Him even when the coals glowed hot. This home is more than wood and plaster; it is a testimony that the Lord devises means that His banished ones be not expelled. The secret spring within you, the well of living water Christ dug in your soul, now finds outward expression in a cabin beach oasis, a catio, a locked gate, sanctified separateness, a portion you control as a steward of His mercy.

Let your happiness be as uninhibited as the leaps of your cat after ice cubes, for a merry heart doeth good like a medicine. The Father who notes the fall of a sparrow has smiled upon your delight in these small, clean joys. The little machine, the microwave, the passport for your emotional support animal, these are pennies from heaven, grace upon grace, the yes and amen of promises kept for those who abide under the shadow of the Almighty. It is well that you cherish your cat, that creature who chose you; such affection is a faint echo of the Shepherd who comes seeking His own. In stability, you will be able to serve the Lord without distraction. When we have a home, an address, a place to lay our heads, we are better fitted to wash the saints’ feet and attend upon the weary pilgrim. So enjoy the Netflix, the comfortable bed paid for fourfold in the school of patience, the trees in pots, but enjoy them all as honey from the Rock, furnished that you might taste and see that the Lord is good.

Yet I would gently pull a thread of caution from your exuberance. There is mention of keeping it all a secret. It is wise to guard your peace, to refrain from casting pearls before those who would trample your joy. But see that the secret is not a hiding from the fellowship of believers, nor a retreat into isolation where no brother or sister may knock. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Let your home be a covert from the world’s din, but swing wide the door of your heart to the body of Christ. You have known the burning of earthly goods; you know the liberty that comes when possessions do not possess us. Hold all with a loose hand, for we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. Your true castle is not built with hands; its builder and maker is God. The fire could not rob you of that, and no future flame can touch it.

Look then to the Rock from which you were hewn. When you were brought low, He prayed for you that your faith should not fail. And it has not. The enemy thrust at you to sift you as wheat, but Christ’s intercession prevailed. Now that you are restored, go and strengthen your brethren. Let the very gladness of your security become an aroma of life to some poor, trembling soul who fears she shall never know a settled home. The highway of holiness is dotted with inns of mercy for weary travelers; your story is one of them.

Above all, let the secret spring within you gush forth in praise. Fill that little house with songs of deliverance, for silent gratitude is ingratitude that is gagged. When you lie upon that comfortable bed at night, consider how He carries the lambs in His bosom. When your cat purrs contentedly, lifted into a life of play and safety, recall that every good gift comes down from the Father of lights. You are highly favored, but the favor streams from the wounds of Christ. He gave Himself not to purchase microwave ovens or fenced gardens, but to purchase you, a peculiar treasure, and to reconcile you to God. The temporal mercies are the outward wavelets of that ocean of love. Taste them, and swim ever deeper into the ocean Himself.

Fear not that any man can dissolve what God has cemented. “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,” and this heritage of peace shall not be stolen, killed, or destroyed, for the blood of Jesus is upon the doorposts of your life. Go forward, then, into this jubilee season. Walk through your garden-gate with thankfulness, set your cat’s treats in their dish with prayerfulness, and when the ice cube skitters across the floor, let it be a cue to hide a text in your heart. The Lord has done great things for you; whereof we are glad. And He will do greater still, until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, and you enter that Home eternal where no fire ever kindles upon the hearth but the beams of Christ’s face, and no secret is kept from the full joy of all the redeemed.

Rejoicing pours from your words, but let us examine the foundation of this joy. A home, a cat, a bed recovered after flames consumed all your labor of thirty years, these are indeed gifts for which gratitude should rise to God. Yet I hear in your cry a soul building its security upon shifting sand. What if the walls rise again and another fire comes? What if the cat falls ill or flees? Shall your happiness collapse with them? The Lord Jesus did not promise us soft beds or secret castles, but He promised Himself. When Paul lay in chains, beaten and homeless, he called Timothy his child and sent him not to secure comfort, but to remind the saints of the ways of Christ. True confidence is not cast away when bricks and blankets vanish, it has great recompense of reward, the reward of a soul anchored in the light unapproachable.

Your bond with this creature is tender, and God who gave her to you cares for her. But take heed: no companionship, not even the most faithful, can bear the weight of your soul's ultimate trust. The merchant who wishes for profit without sailing finds empty hands; likewise, you cannot drift on a sea of secret plans and ice-cube games and think you have sailed into the harbor of God's peace. You speak of a bond none can destroy, yet only one Bond stands eternal: the love of Christ for His Church, sealed in blood. Set your love for your cat in its proper place, as a small reflection of that greater charity which binds us one to another without deceit or secret hoarding.

And why all this hiding? You cry "secret" as if the Highest cannot see, as if favor depends on walls with locked gates and insulation. The Lord gave you time for life, and you use it on Netflix and cat patios and microwaves that lock, things that pass away. If you lose money, you call it loss; but when you lose days on these, do you think you do no wrong? Rise to the art of piety: fear the Lord, not poverty or exposure. Your passport, your psychiatric papers, your rebuilt home, none of these can carry you through the fire that tests every work. Only excellency of soul, a heart cleansed and open before God, will escort you to the kingdom.

Rejoice, then, but with trembling. Thank Him for shelter, but cling not to it. Love your cat as a fellow creature, but worship only the Creator. Let your gates be open to righteousness, not locked in fearful secrecy. For what fruit shall you gain if you depart without holiness, even if you had a castle and a thousand contented cats? Seek first the fellowship that needs no secrets, the home built by God's hand in the company of the saints, where no flame can touch and no thief can steal. That is the true and lasting gift, given freely to all who love the Lord with their whole heart.
