We come before the throne of grace together, lifting up this request for a new day filled with God’s salvation, healing, and protection. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ—our Lord, Savior, and the only mediator between God and man—that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, we are lost in sin and separated from God, but in Him, we find forgiveness, redemption, and the hope of glory.
Father God, we thank You for the gift of this new day, for Your mercies that are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We ask for Your salvation to be evident in our lives—not just the salvation of our souls, but also deliverance from the trials and temptations that seek to ensnare us. Lord, You know the depths of our struggles, the battles we face in our minds, bodies, and spirits. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the armor You have provided (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We rebuke the enemy—the devil—who prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every lying spirit, every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair to flee! You have no authority here, Satan, for we are covered by the blood of Jesus, and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We resist you, and you must flee (James 4:7).
Lord, we pray for Your healing touch to rest upon every area of our lives—physical, emotional, and spiritual. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to restore what has been broken. We ask for Your protection over our families, our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. Surround us with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around us (Psalm 91:11).
We also lift up those who may be struggling with sin—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, addiction, or any form of disobedience to Your Word. Father, convict us by Your Holy Spirit and lead us to repentance. Help us to walk in holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). If there are relationships that do not honor You—whether they involve fornication, adultery, or any union outside of Your design for marriage between one man and one woman—we ask for Your strength to flee from temptation and pursue righteousness (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
Heavenly Father, we surrender this day to You. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your joy be our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Guide our steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in our lives. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
