We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for this new day that the Lord has made. We rejoice and are glad in it, for His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great. We lift up this prayer for salvation, healing, and protection, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can make our requests known.
First, we must address the foundation of salvation. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are grateful that this prayer is offered in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have not yet confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 assures us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
We pray for your salvation and that of your family, that you may all come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. May the Lord open your eyes to see the wonderful things in His Word, and may your heart be softened to receive His love and grace. We rebuke the enemy and his schemes to blind your minds from the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of deception and confusion to flee, for 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them.
Heavenly Father, we pray for your healing touch upon every area of your life and that of your family. We know that by Jesus' stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing in the name of Jesus. We pray for physical healing, emotional healing, and spiritual healing. We ask that you restore health, bring comfort, and renew strength. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. May your body be a temple of the Holy Spirit, and may you honor God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Lord, we also pray for your protection over your life and your family. We know that you are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that you surround your family with your angels and keep them from all harm. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and danger, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. May you and your family dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that you and your family will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you be rooted and grounded in love, and may you have the power to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). We encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart, to read His Word, and to pray without ceasing. May your life be a testimony of God's love, grace, and power.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
