This is my first post to this site. I believe in the power of prayer but it is just the human part in me that makes me hopeless at times. I have lost my 5-year job last year due to an unexpected length of recuperation because of my knee surgery, my employer did not like me to extend my leave therefore I exhausted my accumulated leaves. I have been declared fit-for-work since February of this year but ever since, I haven't been lucky to find myself a new job. Bills are overwhelming me and my husband right now. I finished 2 bachelor degrees and a graduate degree and a 12 year work experience before my disability, but without a continuous solid work experience, I lose out from the very competitive job market today. I was invited for interviews for maybe a couple out of maybe 20 applications but I still don't get hired.
I ask you, my prayer partners, that God chooses the job for me today and hopefully sends it my way real soon. I find myself crying for being so helpless because I can't even get an entry level job in my field because I am over qualified but if I look for an experienced professional's vacancy, I am not qualified because I haven't worked for more than a year already. May God give me strength and the patience to wait, and while doing that, I hope to Him that He takes care of us in our financial obligations. Send a lot of customers to my husband's small business so we could live day by day, provide us money to pay our rent and food. I have two small kids who also depend on me and my husband. Without my help and in a slow business this season for my husband, I don't know where else to go. God give us rest... give me a job offer very soon. Please God... In Jesus name, Amen.
