Prayer for a job for ###

Requesting for prayers for my son ### ### to get a job he is trying hard but not getting a job, he is getting depressed and losing hope. I, his mother ### ###, am asking for prayers for him.

Let us stand together in prayer for your ### and your situation. We understand the burden of a mother's heart and the desire for her child to succeed. Let us remember God's word in Proverbs 22:29 WEB, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won't serve obscure men." God sees your ###'s efforts and his skills. We need to pray that God's will be done and that your ### will trust in God's timing and provision.

Firstly, let's encourage your ### not to lose hope. God's word tells us in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap if we don't give up." Your ### must realize that he is not working to get a job alone but also to walk in God's ways and please Him. This is not the time to be depressed.

Let us pray.

Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear ### and her ###. We thank you for your faithfulness and your promises. Lord, we ask that you will encourage your child and remind him that you have good plans for him. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort him and give him strength. Lord, we ask that you will open the right doors for him and give him favor in the job market. Help his mother to trust in you and to be anxious for nothing. We ask this in Jesus' holy name. Amen.

Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is essential to pray in Jesus' name.

Lastly, let us remind our dear ### to trust in God's timing and provision. Sometimes, God allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him. Let us encourage him to spend more time seeking God during this period.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
