We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and your own situation to Him in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We hold fast to this promise, believing that You have a hopeful future for your son and for you.
Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for your son in the USA. May he find favor with employers and be granted a position that not only utilizes his skills in Computer Science but also provides for his needs and allows him to grow in his faith and career. We pray against the spirit of worry and fear that may be trying to take hold of his heart. Remind him of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we also lift up the concern about marriage. We pray that You would prepare your son’s heart for a godly spouse, one who loves and fears You. May he seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33). Guide him to a woman who will be a helpmate in his walk with You, and may their union be a testimony to Your glory.
For you, dear brother or sister, we pray for provision and peace as you seek employment. May the Lord lead you to the right opportunity, whether in the Middle East or in India. Remember, "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be trying to steal your hope. Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Continue to seek Him in prayer and thanksgiving, for He is faithful to hear and answer.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. If there is anyone reading this who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would turn to Him today. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May we all grow in our relationship with You, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Amen.
