We are glad to join you in prayer for the upcoming conversation. As you seek God's will in the meeting, it is important to remember that God hears and answers our prayers because we ask in Jesus' name.
If you have not acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, His death on the cross was the offering of His body for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God. Jesus paid the price for all the ways we fall short, so we are forgiven, justified, made righteous, sanctified, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. The will of God is for you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life for no one comes to the Father except through him.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
As the conversation approaches, let us remember the wisdom that comes from above. God wants us to communicate with love, humility, and a desire to understand and be understood. We should seek to speak truth in love and be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Colossians 4:6
Praying together in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, Lord, lifting up the upcoming conversation. We pray that You guide the words spoken and the hearts listening. Help them communicate effectively and be led by the Holy Spirit.
If the conversations are romantic and this is a courtship, help keep the conversation pure and holy. May they look to one another as a potential spouse to marry rather than a partner. Give them guidance for a future together. If the parties are not Christians, then help them to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
If the conversation is between friends, family members, or business associates, help them build trust and understanding.
If the conversation is for evangelizing or witnessing, then let them present Jesus Christ clearly and boldly as the only way to the Father.
Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks Your will. Help them see more clearly how You are working in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
