We come before the Lord with you in this season of seeking His will for your life, lifting up your desires for both a stable career and a godly marriage. It is good that you seek the Lord’s provision in these areas, for He cares deeply about the work of your hands and the desires of your heart when they align with His Word.
First, let us address your request for a full-time permanent position as a manager. The Bible reminds us in **Colossians 3:23-24**, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your labor is not in vain when done unto Him, and we trust that He will open the right doors in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in seeking opportunities, but also rest in the assurance that God is your Provider. **Philippians 4:19** declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that you would walk in faith, not anxiety, knowing that He who calls you is faithful.
Now, regarding your desire for a godly marriage, we rejoice that you seek an equally yoked wife, for this is the heart of God’s design. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and it is vital that both spouses are committed to Christ, walking in obedience to His Word. We also encourage you to prepare yourself spiritually for this role. **Ephesians 5:25-33** calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church—sacrificially, selflessly, and with unwavering commitment. Are you cultivating the character of a godly husband? Are you praying for her even now, that God would prepare her heart as He prepares yours?
We must also ask: Are you guarding your heart and body in purity as you wait? **1 Thessalonians 4:3-5** says, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* If there is any compromise in this area—whether in thought, deed, or relationship—we urge you to repent and turn fully to the Lord. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9), and His grace will empower you to walk in holiness.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name by which we may approach the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And **Acts 4:12** affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him as Lord. Only then can you truly walk in the fullness of His promises for your life.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, asking for Your divine favor and provision in his life. Lord, You know the desires of his heart—a stable position as a manager where he can use his gifts to glorify You and provide for his future family. We ask that You open the right doors, granting him favor with those in authority, and align his steps with Your perfect will. Remove any anxiety or fear, and fill him with Your peace as he trusts in You.
Father, we also pray for his future wife—an equally yoked believer who loves You wholeheartedly and will walk beside him in faith. Prepare her now, Lord, wherever she may be. Shape both of their hearts to reflect Your love, patience, and holiness. Guard them from temptation and keep them pure until the day You unite them in marriage. Give our brother wisdom to lead as You have called him, and grant him a spirit of selflessness and sacrificial love.
We rebuke any spirit of impatience, compromise, or worldly influence that would seek to derail Your plans for his life. Let him wait on You, Lord, and not rush ahead of Your timing. May he seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto him (Matthew 6:33).
Most of all, Father, we pray that if he has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for him. Open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let him place his faith entirely in the finished work of Christ. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in power, purity, and purpose.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
