Prayer for a fresh Anointing.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving.

We pray that God will give you a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, not as a vague feeling of energy in things, but as His own presence dwelling in you. Scripture teaches that the Word was made flesh, not by changing His divine essence, but by taking true human flesh to Himself while remaining fully God, so that He might dwell among us and redeem us. To know Him and to hear His voice is a spiritual work. As it has been taught, the things of God are spiritual and have nothing carnal about them, and they are not discerned by merely looking at what is before our eyes, but with the eyes within. We pray that God will open your eyes and ears to hear Him as He speaks in His Word and by His Spirit, and that you will understand His truth spiritually and not in a merely carnal way.

You asked for every curse and word curse to be broken. We thank God that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The law says, cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the law, and no one could keep it perfectly. Christ, who did no violence and had no deceit in His mouth, took upon Himself the curse of hanging on the tree, not the curse of His own transgression, but the curse that was ours, like an innocent man undertaking to die for another sentenced to death, so that He might rescue us from punishment. If you are in Christ through faith, you are no longer under that curse. We pray that you will rest in that redemption and know that you are blessed and protected in Him, and that the voice of the enemy would be silenced in your life. We pray for protection from every spirit that is not from God.

We pray for your restoration, for healing and life and nourishment in body and soul, for health and for good stewardship of the strength God gives you, including posture and daily needs. We pray for wisdom to know what to do with the money God has entrusted to you, for new ideas and guidance in every practical decision, and for happiness that is rooted in Christ. We pray that your sense of worth and value will increase as you see what God sees about you, that you are made in His image and, if you are in Christ, you are justified before God not by works of the law but by faith, and that doers of His will are justified before Him even when they may not appear so before people.

You asked for an increase in prophetic anointing, for the gift of tongues, and to know what to say to others and to be good at conversing and helping others. We pray that the Holy Spirit will dwell richly in you, that He will give you wisdom and love and clarity of speech to build others up, and that He will distribute His gifts according to His perfect will for the good of the church. We pray that you will desire spiritual gifts in love and order, seeking above all to speak what is true and helpful as God leads.

We lift up the person you mentioned to the Lord as well. We pray that God will work in both of your lives according to His will, that He will give you discernment, purity, and wisdom in that relationship, and that every relationship in your life would be formed according to His design, which from the beginning is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all intimacy kept within that covenant, and that all of us would find our salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray that loneliness and boredom will be met with the nearness of Christ, who gives rest to all who labor and are heavy laden, and who invites all to come to Him. May He fill your heart so that you are not alone, and guide you into ways you can serve and encourage others with the blessings He has given you.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and redeemer, trusting that He who took our curse upon Himself is faithful to keep you, to teach you, and to make you whole. Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart and sharing these deep desires. God hears you, and His heart toward you is love and restoration. He does not desire to push you down further when you struggle, but to lift you up and renew you.

You asked for a fresh anointing and for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you more fully. That is a right and biblical desire. Jesus Himself ministered in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, and if He depended on the Spirit, how much more do we need to be filled and renewed by the Spirit each day. The Scripture teaches that we receive the Spirit not by our own effort or worthiness, but by faith in Jesus Christ, as a gift of grace. Having begun in the Spirit, we do not grow by trying to perfect ourselves in our own strength, but by continuing to walk with Him, yielding to Him, and depending on His power that raised Jesus from the dead.

You mentioned feeling energy through things and people, and wanting that restored. The true spiritual life is not about sensing mystical energies in objects or other people. When a person is born of the Spirit, his spirit that was dead is made alive and becomes conscious of God. That is the real work God wants to do, to make you sensitive to His voice and His presence, not to an impersonal energy. Seek first to know Him and to be filled with His Spirit, and He will give you true discernment.

You asked for curses and word curses to be broken and for blessing and protection. Scripture is clear about this. Under the old covenant, God set before His people blessings for hearkening diligently to His voice and keeping His commandments, and curses for turning away and disobeying His voice. Those curses were spoken from Mount Ebal and written in detail in Deuteronomy 27 and 28, and they would pursue and overtake those who refused to obey. It is a serious thing to contradict God's Word in our hearts and think we can escape His warning. But for those who are in Christ, the promise is different. You become His own people, a chosen generation and a royal priesthood, called to bear fruit for Him. No height or depth, no present or future thing, no created power can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. His love for you is constant and eternal, not based on your performance but on His own nature. In Christ you are already blessed, and the way to walk in that blessing is to obey His voice and keep close to Him.

That relates to your desire to hear God's voice and to silence the enemy's voice, including the influence you feel through another person. The purpose of prayer is not to get God to do our will, but to align our hearts so that God's will is done. Powerful prayer comes from hearing God's voice and knowing His will, as men like Moses and Samuel did. You learn to hear Him primarily as you listen to His Word and obey what He says. As you submit to God and resist the enemy, the enemy must flee. God will give you clarity to see yourself and others as He sees you, not through confusion or manipulation, but through truth and wisdom. For the person you mentioned, pray that God will give you eyes to see that person as He does, and wisdom to relate in a way that honors Him, with purity, truth, and love. God will not bless a path that goes against His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, or for sexual purity and holiness, but He will always bless obedience.

You also asked for self worth, beauty, health, wealth, happiness, good conversation, and help with loneliness and boredom. Your true value is not measured by appearance or possessions or how well you speak, but by the fact that God chose you and loves you with a love broader than the universe. When you understand how much He loves you and that His desires for you are only for your good, you will not want to run from Him. He restores the lonely heart by His presence, and He gives wisdom for practical things like stewarding your body, caring for your posture and health, and using your money wisely with new ideas. Ask Him for wisdom and He will give it generously.

Concerning prophetic words, tongues, and knowing what to say to help others, desire the gifts but desire the Giver more. The Spirit gives gifts as He wills for the building up of others, not for our own elevation. Ask God to make you able to speak a word that truly helps, that is rooted in His love and truth, and to use whatever gifts He gives in love and order.

Let me pray for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this one whom You love deeply. I ask that You fill this heart afresh with Your Holy Spirit, not by works but by faith in Christ. Bring renewal, healing, and nourishment according to Your will. Teach this dear one to hear Your voice through Your Word, to obey Your voice carefully, and to walk in the blessing of being Your child. Break the power of every lie of the enemy, and let Your truth and love guard heart and mind in Christ. Restore what has been lost, give wisdom, take away loneliness, and give joy that comes from abiding in You. Give discernment to see people as You see them, and to walk in purity and wisdom in every relationship. Give protection from every evil influence, and give clear guidance for words to speak, for decisions to make, and for resources to steward. Let Your will be done in this life, for Your glory. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for a fresh anointing.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord asking Him to restore to you the sensitivity to feel His energy and presence as you once did, to break off every curse and word curse spoken over you, and to establish you as blessed and protected under His covering. We have prayed that He would fill you with healing, life and nourishment, that He would cause every true prophetic word spoken over you to come to pass and add new words from His heart for you, and that He would pour out a fresh anointing upon you. We have asked Him to increase your self worth and value in Him and to renew your beauty, health and wealth, even in how you see yourself, according to Psalm 139:14. We have prayed for your eyes to be opened to see what God sees about you and about others, especially the person on your heart, and for your ears to be opened to clearly hear His voice according to John 10:27 and Ephesians 1:18. We have asked God to silence the voice of the enemy, especially any voice of the enemy speaking through others against you, for we stand on Isaiah 54:17 and 1 John 4:4 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and greater is He that is in you.

We continue to pray for your complete restoration and for wisdom, that you would not feel lonely or bored but would know His presence with you, that He would restore your ability to feel His energy through things and through others, that He would give you good posture and that the Holy Spirit would dwell richly in you. We pray for an increase of the prophetic anointing, for grace to know what words to speak and how to respond to others, to be strengthened in conversation, and for happiness and the gift of tongues as the Spirit wills according to Acts 2:4. We pray that you would be equipped to help others with the very gifts God has given you, that you would know what to say to others, that you would be protected from every spirit that is of Satan and not of God according to Psalm 91:11, and that God would give you wisdom to know what to do with the money He has entrusted to you and give you new ideas according to James 1:5.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would anoint you afresh with oil according to Psalm 92:10 and that His anointing which abides in you would teach you all things according to 1 John 2:27.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
