Beloved of All
We join you in bringing your friend before the Lord and agree with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ for his healing.
We have heard how this injury from years ago still affects his short term memory and makes speaking difficult, and we ask our merciful God to lay His healing hand upon him. We pray that the Lord who formed body and mind would restore what has been weakened, strengthen his memory, make his speech clear, and grant him full health according to His wisdom and compassion. We ask that Christ, who alone is our Savior and healer, would show His power and mercy in this need and give comfort and hope to your friend and to all who love him.
In this time of waiting, we encourage you both to continue in patience and trust. Scripture teaches us to be long suffering, for nothing is so strong as a soul that endures with faith, and to hold fast what we have heard so that it does not escape our memory. Keep praying, keep speaking the word of Christ gently and little by little, keep thanking God even in hardship, and keep seeking wise and faithful care for his body and mind. God sees and hears, and He delights when we bring our needs to Him and leave the outcome in His loving hands.
We stand with you now. Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that You would grant a miracle of healing to this man, restore his memory and speech, give him peace, and draw him ever closer to Yourself. May Your will be done and may he know Your presence and strength each day. Amen.
