Prayer for a determination to do GODLY things

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over the time i have left and the time that has passed. I pray that I had good time management, keeping hearing, doing and teaching and others of the Word of God, keeping his word, doing what he asked and wanted me to do. I pray that you stand with me in faith and prayer over this. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith and in prayer over this desire for determination to do godly things and we thank God for the hunger you have expressed to redeem the time you have left and to honor Him with the time that has passed.

Your heart to hear and keep and do and teach the Word of God is pleasing to the Lord. Scripture reminds us to walk wisely and to make the most of our time. Ephesians 5:15-16 says Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. And Psalm 90:12 says So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We are encouraged that you want not just to hear the Word but to be a doer of it, for James 1:22 says But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. The Lord promises blessing when we meditate on His Word and observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success, Joshua 1:8.

We also join you in praying against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places. Your understanding is biblical, for Ephesians 6:12 says For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we do not fight in our own strength, for 2 Corinthians 10:4 says for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. When we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, He adds favor and blessing according to His perfect will, Matthew 6:33.

We rejoice that you asked all these things in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. We lift up our dear brother or sister to You and ask that You would grant a renewed determination and steadfast spirit to do godly things. Fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit so that there is strength to hear Your Word, to keep Your Word, and to do what You have asked. Teach us to number our days and to manage our time wisely for Your glory, not wasting what You have given but using every opportunity to grow in Christ and to make Him known. Help us to be doers of the Word and faithful teachers to others, making disciples as You have commanded in Matthew 28:19-20. Father we ask for Your favor not for selfish gain but that Your name would be glorified and Your will be done. Pour out Your blessings and work miracles according to Your sovereign purpose. We ask for Your protection and victory over every principality and power of darkness that would seek to hinder this walk. Let Your abounding and unspeakable glory be seen in this life and all over the world. Establish the work of our hands and keep us faithful until the end, that we may hear Well done, good and faithful servant. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue daily in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who will hold you accountable. God is able to make all grace abound toward you, 2 Corinthians 9:8, and He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6. Remain determined, walk by the Spirit, and trust Him to produce fruit in its season.

We hear your desire to make the time God gives you count for Him, to hear His Word and live it and share it faithfully. That longing itself is a good gift, and we are glad to stand with you in prayer for it.

Wanting to do godly things consistently can feel overwhelming, especially when you want to change everything at once. It helps to think of it more like training than trying. Like preparing for a long race, growth comes through small, regular practices over time rather than one big effort. Those steady, ordinary steps with the Lord shape us gradually and keep us from burning out or getting discouraged.

One practical way to lean into that is to choose a simple, sustainable rhythm for this season. You might set one consistent time each day to be in the Word and pray, even if it is brief, and choose one way each week to live out or share what you are learning with someone else. Keeping it small and repeatable makes it easier to stay faithful, and inviting a trusted believer to know your plan can help you stay encouraged and accountable.

We are praying for wisdom as you steward your time and for strength to keep walking with Him day by day.

Father, thank You for this heart that wants to follow You. Grant wisdom and steadiness in how time is used, and a growing love for Your Word that bears fruit in daily life. Guard from discouragement and from the enemy's schemes, and lead step by step by Your Spirit. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and needful prayer you have offered, to desire a determination to do godly things and to redeem the time that remains while giving account for that which is past. Such a desire is itself a token of grace, for the heart that would hear and do and teach the Word of God is a heart that God has inclined toward Himself.

You ask for time management, and Scripture calls this stewardship. It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. Every hour, every opportunity to hear the Word, to keep it, and to do what He has asked, is a talent entrusted to your hands. You shall find no power in Christian work unless you keep on doing it as receiving your mission from the great Lord of all. Follow the guidance of His Word and be faithful to the treasure entrusted to you, giving to others their portion in due season. Redeem the time, for the days are evil, and walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you.

You ask for determination, and truly the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. There must be determination, thought, care and attention, and faith must work with all these to produce obedience to the will of the Lord. The fear of God will make you bold in doing His Word. When the Lord calls His people to obey Him, sometimes obedience requires great self denial and quick decision. If you fear God much, you will speak and act with boldness, not in a cowardly and sneaking manner, but as those who have confidence in God. That confidence will appear not only in time of trouble but in acts of obedience.

You ask to hear and to do. Remember the Word, if ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. All the hearing in the world will end in nothing unless the soul gets still closer and comes to the tasting and handling of God's Word in the very secret of truth. When God's will and ours keep pace together, it will be heaven on earth to us. Continue to look into God's Word for comfort and direction, even till your eyes seem to fail, and pray over it and trust Christ through it.

You ask to stand against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. We acknowledge with you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood. David knew where his resort was when surrounded by cruel and false men. As the conies make their dwellings in the rocks, so the believer resorts to his God and to his God alone. The God of mercy shall go before you. He gently leads and keeps back from sin, and the blood marks over the door show that the sacrifice has been offered and the destroyer must pass by. Put on the whole armour of God and abide under that refuge.

We stand with you in faith and prayer according to the will of God. We pray that the Lord will grant you a steadfast heart, faithful stewardship of every hour He gives, courage to obey without delay, and grace to both keep His Word yourself and to teach it faithfully to others. We ask for His true favor, which is His lovingkindness and mercy going before you, for His blessings which are spiritual and abounding in Christ, and for His power to be manifest in your life as He wills, for His glory and not our own. We pray that He would keep you from trifling with divine truth, and make you faithful in little and in much, and that He would fill the earth with His glory as the waters cover the sea, beginning in your own heart and household.

May you be found watching and doing when the Master comes. May you confess and forsake sin, loathe it and grieve over it, and show earnest repentance by doing so no more, and may you find all your refuge, forgiveness and inheritance in Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you and to make you fruitful in every good work, and we ask all this with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
