Prayer for a 6 year old

My friend Stacie has a 6 year old cousin named Emily who is living with Stacie and her mother because Emily's mother allowed her boyfriend to abuse her. Tonight was Emily's weekly visit with her mother and her mother took her to the cops and told them that Stacie's ex boyfriend molested her. Her ex boyfriend is a friend of mine and I, as well as Stacie and her family, know that he never did that, he was never even left alone with her once for it to happen. Emily is in DHS custody now and I know she's scared and she wants to be home with her family that loves her. This isn't the first time Emily's mother lied about her being molested to get attention or to hurt someone Emily is close to or whatever it is that she is trying to do. But I would appreciate your prayers for this little girl, she is truly the sweetest 6 year old you would ever meet.

Father God, pull this child close to Your heart and protect her with all of Your might. This situation is complicated and messy, but I know with Your guidance and leading, it can all be sorted through. Please give this child a special feeling of comfort and peace as she goes through these scary times. Help her to understand she is loved and special, and that this time will soon pass. I just ask that justice and mercy be part of the solution of this problem, and that Your hand and heart are right in the middle of it all. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
