We lift up this precious child and her mother before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing, comfort, and strength in this difficult time. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to bring healing to this dear child.
Father God, we ask You to touch this little one with Your healing hand. Calm the seizures, restore her strength, and bring complete healing to her body. We also pray for her mother, Lord. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Surround her with a community of believers who will support her, encourage her, and walk alongside her during this trial.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of this family. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life, hope, and restoration over this situation. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect plan, even when the road is difficult.
We also want to gently remind this family of the importance of seeking You first in all things. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage them to continue seeking You through prayer, reading Your Word, and leaning on their church family for support.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
