We lift up this precious young man who has suffered such a severe injury, breaking his neck and spine. Our hearts ache for him and his family as they face this difficult time of waiting for surgery. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the Healer of all. We ask that You would be with this young man, surrounding him with Your peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we pray for the surgeons and medical team who will be performing the surgery. Grant them wisdom, skill, and steady hands as they work to bring healing to his body. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over him, believing that You are able to restore and heal.
We also pray for his family, that You would strengthen them and give them hope in this trying time. Help them to lean on You and on one another, finding comfort in Your presence. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness, even in the midst of this storm.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold of this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You. We pray that this young man would come to know You personally if he does not already, and that he would experience Your peace and presence in a powerful way during this time.
We pray for complete healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would use this situation for Your glory, drawing many to You through this young man's testimony. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this family to hold fast to the promises of God and to continue seeking Him in prayer. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep trusting in Him, for He is faithful and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). May this young man and his family feel God's presence and peace in a tangible way as they walk through this valley.

What a fearful crash when the column of life is broken in its prime, when the frame that upheld a young man snaps asunder at neck and spine! The surgeon sees the gravest peril; around such shattered bones the shadow of death hovers close. Yet the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear. The very thing that seems only a calamity may become the place where healing power is most sweetly displayed. It is a blessed truth that our Lord Jesus Christ is a physician whose skill knows no limit, and whose own heart was broken that He might bind up shattered lives. He knows precisely where the malady lies and what remedy to apply to both body and soul.
Let the dear sufferer, and all who love him, look away from the terrors of the operating theatre to Him who was laid on a tree. At Calvary there is healing balm for every wound, pardon for every sin, and strength for every weakness. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and even the least thing about Christ has virtue in it to restore. His very words, even a broken text from His lips, are better than the best of others. Let that young man submit himself with folded hands, not hardening his neck against the rod, but yielding his spirit into the hands of the Great Healer. He who broke the heart of His own dear Son can heal the body of this broken one, and in the healing, cause the bones which He has broken to rejoice.

The great conduit head of healing is open; from it flow abundant streams for the nations, and for this one dear life. May the Lord grant that the very leaves of that tree, the smallest promises, the gentlest touches of His hand, may bring healing swift and sure. The Lord grant that the bones which are now broken may knit again, and that the soul, purged of every ill, may arise with a freshness like the faces of the redeemed in glory. Amen.

Faith takes a lot of practice and is a long journey pf learning how to worship you Lord and serve you with a perfect heart. Thank you God for being patient with me and giving me opportunities to grow my faith by relying on you in difficult times. My health has been ###. Mysterious ###. ###. ###. And my commitme t to ### ### prayer and faith makes sense to me why I cant do anything. Im literally ### severely ### from doing anything except the bare necessities I need to keep staying alive. Needing to stay alone. To protect my ###. From all external influences of distraction. Especially to be careful getting drawn out of the faith. Prayer faith worship. Hope in Christ. Please pray for my father, who broke his neck in two places this weekend. This is actually the second time that his neck has been broken. He goes in for surgery today, which can be risky. Please also pray for me, as I cannot be there at this time and am a bit of a wreck. Thank you!
