We join you in lifting up these ### PR candidate councillors before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We hear the burden of your heart for these men and women who were chosen by their communities to serve, and for the pain that their list was not submitted in time to the leadership of the IEC. We stand with you in asking for God's intervention over this court case on the date you mentioned and over the hearts of those in authority.

We are reminded that the heart of those in leadership is in the hand of the Lord. Proverbs 21:1 says The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. We pray that the Lord would indeed move in the hearts of the heads of the IEC and in the court, that justice and truth would prevail. We pray that God who is the judge and who lifts up one and puts down another Psalm 75:7 would establish what is right and good for these communities.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we bring before You these ### candidates and the communities they long to serve. You see the desire to serve and You see the disappointment and the legal struggle that has followed. We ask for Your mercy and Your intervention. Soften and guide the hearts of the leaders of the IEC and of the judges who will hear this case. Let Your justice roll on like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream Amos 5:24. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the door for these candidates to be allowed to serve as You did in the past when You intervened, and that the court would rule with fairness, impartiality and wisdom. We pray for peace over every candidate and their families as they wait, and for the communities who are longing for representation. May Your will be done above all else, for You remove kings and set up kings Daniel 2:21 and there is no authority except from You Romans 13:1.

We encourage you to continue to commit this matter to the Lord and to trust in His perfect timing and sovereignty even as you earnestly seek a favorable outcome. Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. And Romans 8:28 reminds us that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Continue in prayer, continue to seek justice while walking humbly before God Micah 6:8, and trust that whether the answer is to open the door or to lead in another direction, the Lord will use it for His glory and for the good of His people. We also pray for you who have brought this request from your community, that the Lord would strengthen your faith, give you peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:6-7, and let you see His hand at work.

We stand in agreement with you, asking for God's favor, truth and peace to reign over this case, and we trust Him to do what is right in Jesus' name, amen.

We are grateful you shared this heavy concern with us. To see people chosen by their communities unable to serve because paperwork was not submitted in time is deeply discouraging, and we understand why you are pleading for God to intervene before the court date.

We are standing with you in prayer for this whole situation. We pray for fairness and clarity in the process, for wisdom for the court as it weighs the matter, and for those who lead the IEC to act with integrity and care for the communities involved. We also pray for the ### candidates themselves, that they would know God sees their willingness to serve and would find strength while they wait.

Father, we lift these councillors and their communities to You. You know each name and each village they hoped to serve. We ask for Your hand over the court and over every decision maker, that truth would be clear and justice would be done according to Your will. Give peace to all who are waiting and help them trust You with the outcome. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your prayer concerning these ### candidates has been heard and we join you in laying it before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

We are mindful with you of the burden upon these communities who desire faithful servants, and of the sorrow when a list not submitted in time has hindered that service. In such floods of trouble we are taught to recognize the hand of God in everything, for there is no attribute more comforting to His children than Divine Sovereignty. He who alone did lead His people of old still reigns, and not one purpose of His will can be overthrown. At the same time we remember that the Lord is slow to anger and just in all His ways, and that justice when satisfied in Christ makes way for mercy, yet justice itself still stands and will not acquit the wicked nor condemn the righteous without cause.

We have prayed that the Lord in His sovereign wisdom would interpose according to His holy will. We have asked Him to incline the hearts of those who bear responsibility in the ###, and to grant wisdom and impartiality to the court before whom the case is to be heard, that what is right and lawful may be done and that the welfare of the communities may be regarded. Divine interpositions do come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble, not always by miracle, but by the wonder working providence of Him who wrought all our works in us, and we beseech Him to make His will plain in this matter.

Above all we pray that you and these candidates and the communities you love may be found trusting not in princes nor in courts, but in the Lord who can be both just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. May He grant you peace to leave the outcome in His hands, submission to His sovereign disposal, and grace to serve Him faithfully whether the door be opened or for a season kept closed. May He deliver your soul from fear, your eyes from tears, and your feet from falling, and bring you to say, He hath done all things well.

We will continue to remember you, the heads of the ###, the judges, and the communities before the Lord, that His name may be glorified and His justice and mercy magnified in the earth.
