Dear Lord,
Thank You for the gift of communication. We appreciate the way we are able to share how we feel toward one another. We also know how important it is to share daily with each other about all that is on our hearts. We pray we would get better at communicating our expectations with each other. Please help us not to wrestle with unmet expectations or disappointment. Please help us to confidently and respectfully talk through the things that matter to us so that we avoid arguing with one another or possibly offending one another. Our desire is to be open and honest in our marriage. We pray You would help us in this area of expectation in Jesus’ name AMEN!
