Lord Jesus, I bow before thy heavenly throne today with thanksgiving in my heart for all that you have done. Lord, I pray for your loving arms around your servant, Doug. I lift up his prayer and ask that you prosper it that it will not return void. May you continue to draw him close to you. May you touch his heart and his spirit in more profound ways than ever before. Lord, he seeks your will with all his might. Will you grant him your favor and your blessings. Be with doug, prosper his ministry with your mercy and grace, stamp out his insomnia in full measure, watch over his children and guide him according to your plan and purpose for his life.
Lord, he is a mighty warrior and you know all of his battles. You have been there with each one and have stood with him at the outcomes. Grant him spiritual visions. Give him wisdom and discernment. Pour out your mercy and grace. Let him feel your mighty presence as he goes through each day. I thank you and praise you for my brother. I glorify your name in his outreach and ministry. Make him a strong reed that he will not blow about in the wind but remain upright and true to his calling. To you be all glory, honor and praise forever and ever. May thy kingdom come soon, Lord. May your hand be upon your children. Amen.
