Servant of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for everything that you have been to me and given me in life. I ask for forgiveness over all my sins, in what I have done, said, thought, and failed to do, please cleanse me by the blood of the Lamb and enable me to live a life that honors you. Father, I have put my life in jeopardy of losing everything that means a lot to me. For long, I have not been doing my part, expecting that somehow the fact that I was so good in the past will carry me along and that I will pass by default. By doing this, I have wasted plenty of time and have stalled my growth in many areas. Father, I am now willing to change my life and pave the way to achieve my dreams and goals. Father, in your hands today I declare the goals I have and the means I will take to achieve them, I ask for your complete involvement, for you to approve of them, guide me, and bless me as I seek to reach them. Help me become a person that will be a good example and glorify you in all ways. Father, I trust your will and I believe that most of these are according to your will. Please bless all the things I will use and make me productive and efficient in doing so. I cast all these cares to you, for you care for me.
1. Becoming more spiritually mature and involved: to achieve this, I plan to get engaged in Bible study using the Bible study tools website and a few books. In case of books, I will start with *The Purpose Driven Life*, *Steps to Christ*, *The Story of Redemption*, and then I will download others as time goes. I plan to attend church service every Saturday, and I also plan to listen to sermons by Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and Billy Graham.
2. Becoming a man with a great physique and the best physical health. To do this, I will engage in muscular training, where I will practice rope skipping, push-ups, sit-ups, dips, side lunges, squats, and calf raises for my gastrocnemius muscles. I will improve my diet, which will include fruits in the morning with juice, afternoon rice and some other foods, I will reduce my intake of meat, and I will drink plenty of water. I will take care of my body parts by cleanliness and taking the precautionary measures. I will practice Kegel exercises for the pelvic floor muscles. I will exfoliate and use benzoyl peroxide 10% to fight acne.
3. Becoming a better person intellectually. I will do this by studying hard and smart to master all my M.D. studies through lecture previews and reviews, studying using books and notes, practicing MCQs, which is most important. I will also read the medical journals to gain medical insight and clear my path to become an oncologist. I will learn languages. I will start with Japanese, then go to French, Turkish, Norwegian, and German so that in the end I may be multilingual by adding that to Swahili and English that I am already fluent in. I will learn and uphold medical ethics as stipulated in the book. I will learn how to play a piano and play songs that praise and worship you. I will read news so as to know what is going on in the world out there. I will read various books to gain insight and be more intelligent and skillful.
4. To be more emotionally stable—via practicing how to live with people, practicing emotional stability, and learning life skills. Dear Lord, I believe that all these will be helpful and that in the end your will be done and I will achieve everything through My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
I prayed for this. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
