Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer against these horrible and distressing blasphemous thoughts and compulsions.
We have been lifting you up before the Lord and we continue to stand with you in this battle. We know how incredibly disgusting and tormenting these intrusive thoughts have been, especially those that try to attribute gross and horrible things to Jesus and to children, and how they have been bugging you for far too long. We also hear how heavy the compulsion has felt, that lie that tells you it is inevitable that you will speak these things out. Please be assured that our Lord knows your heart and He knows that you hate these thoughts and do not want them. These unwanted intrusive thoughts do not define you and they do not reflect what you truly believe about our holy Savior. Jesus loves children deeply and His heart toward them is pure, protective and full of love as we see in Matt 19:14 and Matt 18:6. He is holy and without any darkness.
We are praying that God will bring you deep peace and deliverance and that He will quiet this torment. We pray that He will help you take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as we are reminded in 2 Cor 10:5 and that He will renew your mind day by day in Rom 12:2. We pray that the Lord who is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 will guard your heart and mind with His peace that passes all understanding in Phil 4:7 and that you will know there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus in Rom 8:1. We come against the voice of the enemy that is harassing you and we ask the Lord to break the power of these compulsions and replace that fear and pressure with His perfect love and a sound mind as promised in 2 Tim 1:7.
Father we bring our dear brother or sister before You right now and we ask You to silence every blasphemous and intrusive thought and every compulsion to speak them. Lord, cleanse their mind, calm their heart, and let them know Your forgiveness, Your holiness and Your nearness. Fill them with assurance that You see their distress and that You are their deliverer. Give them rest, freedom and strength to resist these attacks and to walk in Your truth. We pray in Jesus name.
