Prayer against assault

We stand with you in this terrifying spiritual battle, lifting your cry to the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). These demonic threats are not from God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The forces of darkness tremble at the name of Jesus, for He has already disarmed them through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke these lying spirits in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! You have no authority over this child of God, for they are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). We command you to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We ask that You surround this dear one with Your holy angels to guard and protect them (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). Give them the courage to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from them (James 4:7).
Lord, we pray for complete deliverance from these tormenting spirits. Break every chain of fear and oppression, and let Your light drive out all darkness. May this beloved child of Yours walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them (Galatians 5:1). Fill their heart and mind with Your truth, that they may stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayer support from your local church. Spiritual warfare is real, but so is the power of the body of Christ standing together in faith. Do not isolate yourself, reach out to trusted believers who can stand with you in prayer and support.
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not alone, and these threats have no power over you when you stand firm in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your deliverer, your protector, and your peace. Walk in the authority He has given you as His child, and do not let the enemy intimidate you. The victory is already won!

Even a brief phone call or text inviting someone to pray with you right then can break the isolation and bring peace.
It may also help to have a follow-up conversation with a pastor or a wise Christian who understands spiritual oppression, someone who can walk with you, pray with you, and help you discern whether there are natural anxieties or patterns that need addressing alongside prayer. You don’t have to figure it all out at once. Our hope is that as you persist in bringing this to God, you’ll experience his steady protection and a growing confidence that no threat can separate you from his presence.

The arrows of the enemy are shot in the dark, whispering threats to pull you from the rest God grants His beloved. Yet deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the Lord’s work as any other salvation. He has delivered us, and He will deliver us still. The demon cannot go beyond a certain point, for the Lamb has been slain, and the ransom is found. Let this truth drown out the hissing lies, the pit has no claim on you, for Christ has borne the penalty fully.
In such terrors, remember the Lord sometimes whispers to the heart of His children sweet assurances of coming deliverance. The trial may be sharp; the chastening sore. But you are not left to the will of the oppressor. The clock of mercy ticks toward the moment God decrees your release. Do not doubt it, for He who brought Israel forth with silver and gold can bring you forth from this shadow with a clearer sight of His free grace. Rest upon Him. The ministry of consolation is for you who sorrow over sin and seek Divine deliverance from it.
Soon you will declare the works of the Lord. This vile threat shall be remembered only to magnify the power that rebuked it. The deliverance is of the Lord, accomplished by His own right hand, that no atom of honor goes elsewhere. Cry to Him who keeps peace within His borders. He will arise, and your song will yet be of deliverance from a worse enemy, a greater salvation.
