Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for a renewed mind and for daily renewal in what is good has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.
We pray that God will renew you in the spirit of your mind, as the Scripture says, so that the same person is made new not by outward change alone but by the inner work of His Spirit. May He grant you clarity and wisdom to know what to do, and to walk in truth, light, mercy and forgiveness each day. True intelligence before God is not only understanding, but a life shaped by humility and love for Him.
We also pray for what you call victory over enemies. Christ has sat down at the right hand of God, expecting till His enemies are put under His feet, and by His one offering He has perfected those who are sanctified. We ask that any opposition you face would be overcome not by your own strength, but by Christ's power, and that you would learn to make war against spiritual opposition as the saints did, with prayers and supplications, trusting God to fight for you and to bring His peace which passes understanding.
May the Lord fill you daily with His peace, love, truth and mercy, and keep you in what is good and best according to His will, that you may bear fruit in virtue and find rest for your soul both now and in the life to come. We ask this by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
