Beloved of All
Me and my siblings would have the best childhood. My parents would stop being depressed and lovGod and trust in him and we have fun

We hear your heart’s cry for a joyful, God-centered childhood for you and your siblings, and we lift this request before the Lord with great compassion. The desire for parents who are free from depression, who love God wholeheartedly, and who create a home filled with laughter and trust in Him is a beautiful longing, one that aligns with His heart for families. The Bible tells us, "Children are a heritage from Yahweh, the fruit of the womb a reward" (Psalm 127:3 WEB). You and your siblings are precious in His sight, and He longs to fill your home with His peace and joy.

First, we must address the foundational need in your request: the importance of your parents’ relationship with God. Depression can be a heavy burden, but it is not too heavy for the Lord. We rebuke the spirit of despair and heaviness in their lives in the name of Jesus, for Scripture declares, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). Jesus is the source of true joy and peace, and only in Him can your parents find lasting freedom from depression. We pray they would turn to Him, surrender their struggles, and experience the hope that comes from trusting in Christ. If they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus, we pray they would come to know Him as their Savior and Lord, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We also want to gently encourage you, dear one, to examine your own heart. Are you trusting God to work in your family, even when circumstances feel overwhelming? The Bible reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Even if your parents struggle, God is able to fill your heart with His joy and peace. You can be a light in your home by choosing to honor your parents (Ephesians 6:2 WEB), praying for them, and demonstrating the love of Christ in your actions.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope for this family. Lord, You see the struggles of these parents, and You know the desires of these children for a home filled with Your love and joy. We ask that You would break the chains of depression in their lives and replace their sorrow with Your peace. Father, draw them to Yourself, that they may know You as their Savior and find their strength in You. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and to lean not on their own understanding.

Lord, we pray for these children, that You would protect their hearts and minds. Fill them with Your joy, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Give them the strength to honor their parents and to be a light in their home. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are their true Father and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and heaviness in this home, and we declare that Your joy will be their strength. We ask that You would restore laughter, fun, and trust in You to this family. May they look to You as their source of hope and may their home be filled with the love and peace that only comes from You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. Even if your parents do not yet know the Lord, your prayers and your faithfulness can be a powerful testimony in your home. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). You are not alone, God is with you, and He will never abandon you.

It’s clear how much you love your family and how much you want things to be lighter at home. Carrying that kind of concern can feel heavy, especially when you see your parents weighed down. We’re joining you in asking God to bring real, lasting change.

Right now, one of the best things you can do is share what you’re noticing with another grown-up you trust, maybe a pastor, a relative, or a teacher at school. You don’t have to carry this alone, and having another adult walk alongside your family can make a real difference. Sometimes sadness that stays for weeks can be more than a low mood; it might be something a doctor or counselor could help with, and there’s no shame in that. That’s not something you need to figure out, but a trusted adult can gently open that door for your parents.

In the meantime, we’re praying that God wraps each of you in His steady care. We ask Him to lift the fog your parents are in, to stir hope and trust in their hearts, and to give your family moments of genuine laughter and fun again. You’re not selfish for wanting a joyful childhood, that desire is planted deep in how God made families.

Father, we bring this family before You. Please meet these parents in their sadness and draw them toward the help and hope they need. Shield this child and their siblings from bearing too much, and let them feel Your nearness right where they are. Restore lightness and play to their home, and let them all experience Your goodness together. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The true way to handle a matter wisely is to trust God. We are to rely simply and entirely upon Him. Trust in the living God, the God with a great, warm, loving heart, a thinking God, an active God, a working, personal God who comes into the midst of this world.

Have God for your sole trust and you shall never lack for joy. Let all those that put their trust in You rejoice. True joy dwells where dwells the living God and nowhere else. Suppose I have nothing in the house but God? There is no joy equal to joy in God. Even when you reach your door and there is some bad news, still joy in God.

This joy is quickening in its effect. It is an abiding joy. We have found it sweet to be afflicted when we have enjoyed the Presence of God in it. Joy in God is the happiest of all joys. In an unchanging God we find unchanging reasons for joy. What more could God have said than He has said for the consolation of His own beloved? Comfort you, comfort you My people, says your God.

The only way to come to joy in God is by receiving reconciliation by divine grace through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do not try to go to God by any other way than through this golden gate of the great Sacrifice of your redeeming Lord. Throw yourself at the foot of the Cross and say, "By Your very greatness I will lay hold upon You." Come and take Christ, and you have found God. No man believes in Christ and remains without the favor of God.

It is a greater joy when our children feel the power of the truth of God. We love to see our children converted because we love God. The Lord lives, and as He is their God, they are not dead. God will yet let the world know that there is a God in Israel. He will do a work that shall make both ears tingle, not with horror, but with joy. We trust in the living God, the real God. He is mighty of heart and despises no one. Thus, by a simple trust, you shall find your God and no more say, "Oh, that I knew where I might find Him." Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation. Joy forever, and ever, and ever.

You do well to bring this request to the Lord, but let us first give thanks to God for the parents He has given you, for He Himself has implanted in them a natural pity and love for their children. Honor your father and your mother even now, for this is the first commandment with a promise, and your cheerful obedience may become a voice of joy to their hearts.

Pray not for the fleeting gladness of this world, but for that joy which belongs to the angels, the joy that comes from above and fills the soul with heavenly light. God alone can lift the heavy weight of despondency; His grace touches the very soul and plucks up sorrow by the root. Trust in His power even when you do not see it, for the just man in great dangers had no hope of recovery except by the aid of God.

Continue in prayer with thanksgiving, and I will join my prayers to yours, that the Lord may fill your home with His presence and your parents with the sound of the Bridegroom’s voice, that they may love God and trust in Him with all their heart.
