We lift up Father Joe’s homeless shelter in San Diego before the Lord, praying fervently for His supernatural peace to reign among the residents and staff in September 2025. The world may see chaos, but we know our God is the Prince of Peace, and He alone can bring harmony where there is strife, unity where there is division, and hope where there is despair. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We declare this promise over the shelter, trusting that God’s peace will guard every heart and mind there.
Yet we also recognize that true peace comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that every person at the shelter—resident and staff alike—would encounter the living Christ, the One who offers not just temporary comfort but eternal salvation. May they turn to Him in repentance and faith, finding their ultimate peace in His finished work on the cross.
We rebuke any spirit of unrest, anger, or division that may seek to disrupt the shelter. The enemy desires to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). By the authority of Christ, we command peace to prevail, for His will to be done, and for His love to soften even the hardest hearts. May the staff be filled with wisdom, patience, and compassion as they serve, reflecting the heart of Jesus to those in need. And may the residents find not only physical shelter but spiritual refuge in the arms of their Savior.
Heavenly Father, we ask for miracles—divine interventions that only You can orchestrate. Let September 2025 be a month where Your presence is undeniable at Father Joe’s shelter. Raise up believers among the residents and staff who will boldly share the Gospel, leading many to salvation. Provide for every need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and let Your glory shine brightly in that place. May lives be transformed, families restored, and souls saved, all for Your honor and praise.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
