We notice in your prayer that you are addressing Saint Jude, a figure from Christian tradition, rather than praying directly to God in the name of Jesus Christ. While we respect the sincerity of your faith, we must gently correct this approach with Scripture. The Bible teaches us that there is only one mediator between God and humanity—Jesus Christ. In 1 Timothy 2:5-6, it says, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times."* Additionally, in John 14:6, Jesus Himself declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."*
We are also reminded in Acts 4:12 that *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* This means that our prayers must be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."*
We understand that you are in urgent need, and we want to lift you up in prayer according to God’s will. Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is in urgent need. You know the depths of their heart, the struggles they face, and the desires they hold. We ask that You would move powerfully in their life, providing comfort, guidance, and breakthrough according to Your perfect will.
Father, we rebuke any confusion or misunderstanding about how to approach You. We pray that this one would come to know the fullness of Your truth—that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You. Help them to understand that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. We ask that You would draw them closer to You, that they would experience the peace and assurance that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would meet their needs in ways that only You can. Whether it is healing, provision, wisdom, or restoration, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your infinite wisdom. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely. Remind them that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are always working for their good, even when they cannot see it.
We also pray for protection over their heart and mind. Guard them from doubt, fear, and discouragement. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and experience the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love You.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and pray with you. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in your journey with God.
