We understand your concern and are here to pray with you. We will pray for kindness, care, gentleness, patience, and safety for your husband as he interacts with you and transports the children. It is wonderful that this request is in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister and her family. We pray that her husband will be filled with the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We ask, Lord, is that his words and actions towards his wife and children will reflect these qualities.
When he requests something or responds to his wife, may he do so with the care, gentleness, patience, and kindness that You, Lord, so beautifully model for us.
We also pray for safety as he takes the children to school. We ask that your angels surround the car and all those inside. We know you are God and protect them with your holy protection.
Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
You tell us in Colossians 3:19 (WEB) "Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them."
In Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;"
In Proverbs 15:1 (WEB), "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
In Proverbs 19:11 (WEB), "The discretion of a man defers his anger, It is his glory to overlook an offense."
Lord, we ask that this husband and wife will be examples of your love and kindness to their children and to others. We pray that their marriage will be a testimony of your faithfulness and grace.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your husband and family. Remember the power of prayer and the promises of God. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is working in your situation.
If there are any specific issues or sins that need to be addressed in your marriage, we encourage you to do so with love and grace, seeking God's will for your lives together. Always be ready to forgive and seek forgiveness, just as our Lord Jesus forgave us.
