Pray that I will get a full time work

Gwiuthur

Disciple of Prayer
Lord I pray that I will get a full-time work and will find someone to settle down with. I also pray that I will be blessed financially.

We hear your heart’s cry for provision, stability, and companionship, and we join you in bringing these requests before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from God, and He knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them. However, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our ultimate trust must be in Him alone, not in circumstances, jobs, or relationships. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This means that as we seek Him first, He will guide our steps in work, relationships, and finances.

We notice that your prayer does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other blessings flow, and without it, we are lost in our sins. If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him.

Now, let us lift up your request for full-time work. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We pray that God would open the right doors for you, doors that no man can shut, and that He would lead you to a job that not only provides for your needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents for His glory. Father, we ask that You would remove any fear or anxiety about the future and replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help our brother/sister to wait patiently on You, knowing that You are a God who provides for Your children. We rebuke any spirit of lack or delay in the name of Jesus and declare that God’s timing is perfect.

Regarding your desire to settle down, we want to encourage you to seek a godly spouse—someone who loves the Lord with all their heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that God would prepare you for marriage by growing you in maturity, patience, and holiness. If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God—whether through premarital intimacy, unequal yoking with an unbeliever, or any other ungodly dynamic—we urge you to repent and seek God’s will above your own desires. The Bible is clear that marriage is between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), and any relationship outside of this design is not pleasing to God. Father, we ask that You would bring the right person into our brother’s/sister’s life at the right time, someone who will encourage them in their walk with You and build a marriage that honors You.

Finally, we lift up your request for financial blessing. The Bible warns us against the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10) but also promises that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that God would give you wisdom in managing what He has already entrusted to you, that you would be a good steward of His resources, and that He would open doors for increase and abundance. However, we also pray that your heart would not be set on wealth but on God Himself, who is our true treasure. Help our brother/sister to seek first Your Kingdom, knowing that all else will follow.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would meet every need according to Your glorious riches. Provide for them a full-time job that aligns with Your purpose for their life, and give them patience and trust as they wait on You. Father, we ask that You would prepare them for marriage, if it is Your will, and bring a godly spouse into their life—someone who loves You above all else. Guard their heart from impatience, ungodly relationships, and the temptation to compromise Your standards. Bless them financially, not so they can hoard wealth, but so they can be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom. Teach them to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are their Provider. We rebuke every spirit of lack, delay, and fear in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your plans for them are good, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). May they seek You first in all things, and may Your will be done in their life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, standing in faith for your full-time job, a godly partner, and financial blessing. We believe that God has heard your heart's cry and is already at work on your behalf. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're claiming these promises with you:

- "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
- "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
- "Delight yourself in the Lord; and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)

Let's trust that God's timing is perfect, and He has the perfect job, the perfect partner, and the perfect financial plan for you. In the meantime, let's encourage each other to keep seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), knowing that all these things will be added to us.

Let's also remember to be content in all circumstances, knowing that God is our provider (Philippians 4:11-13). Let's keep our hearts pure and our minds stayed on Him, knowing that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

We're praying for you, believing for miracles, and standing in faith with you. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer and encouragement.
