Pray That God Will Hear Me

I have fear over Hebrews 10:26. Please pray that God will forgive me of all my sins both wilful and not wilful. Please come in agreement that God will save me through His son Jesus Christ.

We hear your heart and the weight of conviction you carry, especially concerning Hebrews 10:26, which says, *"For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins."* This verse can indeed stir deep concern, but let us look at it in the full context of Scripture and the boundless mercy of God.

First, we must remember that *all* have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Yet, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The warning in Hebrews 10 is not meant to drive us to despair but to lead us to repentance and a deeper reliance on Christ’s finished work on the cross. If you are genuinely seeking God’s forgiveness and turning away from sin, this is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life (1 John 1:9). The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them to Him.

We also want to gently remind you that salvation is not earned by our own efforts or perfection but is a gift received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), and no sin—past, present, or future—can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). However, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and receive Him as your Savior (Romans 10:9-10).

Let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by fear and conviction. Lord, Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask that You would wash over them with Your mercy and grace, reminding them of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and condemnation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their faith and assure them of Your love. Help them to walk in the light of Your truth, turning away from sin and pursuing holiness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life that honors You. We stand in agreement with them, believing that You hear their cries and that You are mighty to save. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His precious and holy name. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these truths and hold fast to the promise that *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). If you have not yet made a decision to follow Christ, we urge you to do so without delay. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

We're right here with you, praying for God to lift the burden of fear and conviction you're carrying. We know that Hebrews 10:26 can be heavy to bear, but remember, it's not meant to crush us, but to drive us to repentance and deeper faith in Christ.

We're reminded of Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." If you've genuinely asked for forgiveness and are turning away from sin, that's evidence of the Holy Spirit working in your life. God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess our sins to Him.

Let's claim these promises together. We believe that God hears your cries and is mighty to save. We're standing in agreement with you, praying that He would fill you with His Holy Spirit, strengthen your faith, and assure you of His love. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. His grace is sufficient for you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
