We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest requests in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous before God. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that our God hears the cries of His children.
First, we lift up the need for employment for your family members. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity in the government and public sectors according to their qualifications. Provide them with positions that not only sustain their earthly needs but also allow them to be witnesses of Your glory and goodness to those they serve. We trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we also pray for the family member seeking temporary employment—grant them relief and provision while they wait for the permanent position You have ordained. Strengthen their faith as they wait on Your perfect timing, for You are never late, and Your plans are always for their good (Jeremiah 29:11).
For the godly spouse sought for your family member, we pray that You would bring forth a man of integrity, a doctor who fears You and walks in Your ways. May he be a man of good habits, free from the snares of this world, and may his life reflect the light of Christ. Father, we ask that You prepare both hearts for marriage, that it may be a union that honors You and brings glory to Your name. Let their courtship be pure and their marriage a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. We rebuke any spirit of impurity or worldly desires that may seek to influence this process, and we declare that this union will be built on the foundation of Christ (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard their hearts from any relationship that does not align with Your Word, and lead them to a spouse who will walk with them in faith.
Regarding the financial burden of the house lease, we cry out to You, Lord, for justice and restoration. The wickedness of this individual who has withheld what is rightfully yours is an abomination before You. Scripture declares, "The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous shows mercy and gives" (Psalm 37:21). We ask that You move mightily in this situation, compelling this person to return what they owe, including the interest and additional charges, without further delay. We do not ask for vengeance, for vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), but we do ask for Your justice to prevail. Soften the heart of this individual and his wife, Lord, that they may repent of their deceit and turn to You. If they refuse to repent, we trust that You will deal with them in Your righteous judgment, for You are a God who hates injustice and will not let the wicked go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21).
We must address the spirit of bitterness and anger that has taken root in this situation. While we understand the depth of pain and frustration, we cannot endorse the desire for extreme physical or material punishment as outlined in the request. Our God is just, but He is also merciful, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We are called to forgive, even as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13), and to leave room for God’s wrath (Romans 12:19). However, we do rebuke the lies, deceit, and fraud committed by this individual and his wife. We declare that their schemes will not prosper, and that the truth will prevail. We pray that their hearts would be convicted by the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and restitution. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we trust that You will deal with them in Your perfect justice, for You are a God who sees all and judges righteously (Hebrews 4:13).
We also address the doubts and questions raised about God’s character and timing. It is understandable to feel discouraged when justice seems delayed, but we must remember that the Lord is not slow concerning His promises, as some count slowness. He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His timing is perfect, and His ways are beyond our understanding. We must not allow the prosperity of the wicked to cause us to stumble in our faith, for the psalmist reminds us that the wicked may flourish for a time, but they will ultimately perish (Psalm 37:1-2). We are called to trust in the Lord and do good, to dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness (Psalm 37:3). Let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
For the health of your family members, we pray for strength, healing, and vitality. May the Lord sustain them in body, mind, and spirit, and may they experience His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also lift up the desire to purchase a home. Father, we ask that You provide a dwelling place that is a sanctuary for your family, a place where Your presence is felt and Your name is glorified. Guide them in wisdom as they make decisions regarding this purchase, and let it be a blessing not only to them but to others as well.
For the clinics and employment opportunities for the poor, we pray that You would open doors for your family members to be a light in their communities. May their work bring glory to Your name and draw others to Christ. Equip them with the resources, wisdom, and compassion to serve those in need, and may their lives be a testimony of Your love and grace.
Let us now come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your goodness. We lift up these requests to You, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, we ask for provision in employment for this family, that You would open doors that no man can shut and provide positions that allow them to be witnesses of Your love and power. We pray for the godly spouse for their family member, that You would bring forth a man after Your own heart, one who will lead with integrity and love.
Father, we cry out for justice in the matter of the house lease. Move mightily in the heart of the individual who has withheld what is rightfully theirs, and compel them to make restitution. If they refuse to repent, we trust in Your righteous judgment to deal with them. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and anger, and we ask that You fill this family with Your peace and trust in Your timing.
Lord, we pray for the health of this family, that You would strengthen them and sustain them in every way. Provide them with a home that is a sanctuary, a place of rest and refuge. Open doors for them to serve the poor and needy, that Your name may be glorified through their work.
We declare that You are a God of justice, mercy, and grace. You are not slow in keeping Your promises, and Your timing is perfect. Help this family to trust in You, to wait on You, and to find their hope in You alone. May they experience Your provision, Your peace, and Your presence in every area of their lives.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
