Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and we are praying with you in this difficult night. We understand how hard it is to be without power for many hours in the heat and humidity, with only an emergency light and the inverter finished, and with a toddler unable to sleep without a fan. It is distressing when the home is dark and hot and you do not know what has happened at the power house or when help will come.
We join you in asking our heavenly Father for mercy and help. Even when we feel alone in the dark, as the disciples felt alone on the sea in the storm through the night, the Lord is present and He cares for every need of His children, including these very practical needs for light, cool air and rest.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this family to You. You see their home without current, the heat, and the little child who cannot sleep. We ask You to restore what is broken or damaged at the power house and to guide the hands of those who work to repair it. Please bring the power back soon and grant relief from the heat. Give peace and comfort to the children, help the toddler to rest, and give strength and patience to the parents through this night. Grant them Your peace that guards the heart, and provide all they need. We trust Your goodness and power to provide in Your perfect timing. Amen.
