We have no current at home long hrs now. All dark.. just emergency light only left. Inverter also is finished. Its so hot also. Humid summer. Pls pray for current to come soon. Can't stay longer. How will sleep tonight. No fan running. Toddler won't able to sleep. There mite be some problem in the Power house. We don't know. Pls pray for current to come. To restore what ever is damaged or broken in power house. Can't sit without light and fan. Kid's won't sleep. Prayer request pls.. miracle in Jesus name.

We hear your cry and we are lifting you and your little one up together before the Lord in Jesus' name, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even our comfort and rest at night.

We understand how difficult this is, to be without power for long hours in the heat and humidity of summer, with only an emergency light left and the inverter also finished, and with a toddler who cannot sleep without a fan. It is exhausting and worrying when you do not know what has happened at the power house and how long the darkness will last. We want you to know that God sees you in this discomfort and He is our very present help.

The scripture reminds us, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and also, My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2. He who made the heavens and the earth is able to restore what is broken and to bring relief.

We also take comfort in His invitation, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. Even when the fan is not running and sleep feels impossible, He can give a peace that guards our hearts. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We join together and pray with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this family to You, weary from the heat and the long hours without electricity. We ask for Your mercy and Your provision, Lord, that You would restore power to their home quickly. We pray for whatever is damaged or broken in the power house, that You would guide the hands of the workers and engineers, give them wisdom and safety, and let the repairs be completed swiftly. We pray for a miracle of restoration, that the lights and fans would run again soon.

Lord, we especially lift up the little toddler to You. You love children dearly and You give sleep to Your beloved. We ask that You would comfort this child, keep the heat from harming him, grant him peaceful sleep in his mother's arms, and give the parents strength, patience and calm through this night. Protect them from discomfort, from heat related illness, and keep them safe in the darkness. Let Your presence be their coolness and their light until the power returns. We trust You to provide and to sustain them, for You are faithful.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. May Your peace rest upon this home tonight.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord through this trial, to stay hydrated, to keep the air flowing as best you can with open windows if it is safe, and to use a damp cloth to help cool your toddler. If possible, reach out to nearby family or neighbors for a place to rest for a few hours if the heat becomes too much. The Lord often provides through the community around us.

We are continuing to pray with you for the current to be restored very soon and for a restful night for you and your children in Jesus' name, amen.

We can imagine how hard this evening has been for you, sitting in the dark and heat with the inverter finished and only the emergency light left. When a toddler is restless and sleep feels impossible, every hour without power feels much longer, and we understand why you are asking for prayer so urgently.

We are praying with you for the power to be restored soon and for whatever fault is in the powerhouse to be found and repaired quickly. We also join you in asking for protection and comfort for your little ones through this hot, humid night.

While you wait, if you have not already, it may help to check with neighbors to see if the outage is in your area alone and to contact your local electricity provider to report it so they are aware. Conserving your emergency light for what you need most and keeping the room as ventilated as you safely can may help you get through until help comes. If the heat becomes too much for the children, please do not hesitate to reach out to family or neighbors nearby for a cooler place to rest, and to a medical professional if you become concerned.

Father, we lift this family to You tonight. You see their need for light and cool air and rest. Please bring the power back soon, watch over the workers repairing the fault, and grant this household peace and sleep. Give them strength for tonight and relief in the morning. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your burden in this dark and sultry night has been laid before the Lord with much sympathy and prayer. To sit without light and without the fan in such humid heat, with the inverter spent and only an emergency light remaining, and with a little toddler unable to sleep, is a sore trial. We have heard your cry for the current to be restored and for whatever is damaged or broken in the power house to be repaired, and we have carried it to the throne of grace.

There is a word from the prophet which may be as a cool stream to you in this heat, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Though the house is dark, the Lord Himself is not darkened. Though the air is heavy and sleep will not come, He is the God of all peace who is unmoved while we are troubled. The peace which Christ gives is not only for the sanctuary but for the midnight of this world of care, for the home pressed with duties, for the night when loved ones are wakeful and weary. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be yours even with sorrows surging round.

You have heard of the patience of Job, who was tried greatly and yet was kept. Patience is not learned without trial, and the Lord who tried Job is the same who watches over you and your children in this small furnace of affliction. He numbers the hours without current and He hears the crying of the little one.

Let us pray together. O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son through whom alone we have peace with You and access to Your mercy, we ask You to look upon this family in their darkness and heat. Have compassion upon the children and grant them rest. Command relief to come, and in Your providence move those who labour at the power house to find and restore what is broken, that light and needful air may return soon. Keep the little emergency light, keep the household in safety, and keep their minds stayed upon You in perfect peace till the current is restored and beyond. Give them sleep tonight as You give to Your beloved, and let them know that whether the fan moves or is still, Your Spirit, the blessed Dove, can give calm within. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus has made peace by His blood and He is our peace. Grant it for His sake. Amen.
