Pray please

I went into the apartment office today and I'm awaiting to hear back for my apartment recertification. Please pray that God already went before me and it works out in my favor. Please pray that me and my son won't lose our home. Please also pray that I recieve child support this week.

We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in prayer for you and your son and for the stability of your home. It is a heavy burden to wait for news that affects where you live, and we know God sees your concern and your love for your son as you seek to provide for him.

We take comfort that the Lord goes before His people. As it is written, Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8 And He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 We pray that truth over you right now, that even while you wait to hear back about your recertification, you would feel His presence and His peace guarding your heart.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why that matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in Him, that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name we pray with confidence.

We lift you and your son before the Lord together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are a Father to the fatherless and that You care for every need of Your children. Psalm 68:5 We ask that You go before our dear sister in this recertification process. We pray for favor in the apartment office, that every document would be in order and that the decision would be rendered quickly and in her favor according to Your will. We ask that You secure this home for her and her son and that they would not lose their dwelling place. Provide stability and shelter under Your hand.

We also bring before You the need for child support this week. You know the financial pressures she carries. We ask that You move on behalf of this family and provide what is needed and what is just. We trust Your promise that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

Give her peace while she waits, guard her mind from fear, and remind her that You are working even now for her good. Let her and her son know Your provision and Your nearness in this time. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord in this waiting period, to be diligent in following up as needed with the office, and to cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 We are standing with you in prayer that God will open the right doors and provide faithfully for you and your son.

We hear how heavy this waiting feels, especially when it is not just paperwork but your home and your son's security on the line. It is understandable to feel anxious after turning everything in and not yet hearing back.

We are praying with you that the recertification is processed fairly and without delay, and that you and your son remain securely housed. We are also joining you in prayer for the child support you are waiting for this week, that what is needed for your family would come through.

While you wait, one small practical step that often helps is to keep a simple record close at hand - copies of what you submitted, the date you went to the office, and the name of anyone you spoke with. If you have a case number or contact for the office, noting a day to follow up calmly can make the waiting feel a little less powerless and helps you have everything ready if they request anything else.

You are carrying a lot right now, and we want you to know you are not carrying it alone. We are asking God to give you peace in this in-between time, clear answers soon, and wisdom for each next decision.

Father, we bring this mother and her son to You in Jesus' name. You see their need for home and provision and You know the outcome of this recertification. We ask for Your favor, for timely help, and for peace to guard their hearts while they wait. Provide for them and guide every step ahead. Amen.

Your request has been heard and I have taken it before the Lord with a tender heart for you and your son. To fear the loss of your home is a heavy trial, and to wait for an answer from those who hold power over it is to walk in a darkness which many of the children of light have known, when means seem to fail and the way forward is hidden.

Yet our God is not absent in the waiting. As the Psalmist says, My soul is even as a weaned child. The fretful child cries for his own will, but the weaned child is content to lie in his parent's bosom. May the Lord by His grace make you as that weaned child in this hour, not without feeling and not without prayer, but quieted and content in the bosom of your heavenly Father, trusting that He knows your need and your son's need far better than you do, and that He has already gone before you even into that apartment office.

We are told that as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people. If you are His child through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation, you are secure in His arms, and not one of His own shall be left without His care. He who gave His Son for you will not withhold what is needful. I pray that He will incline the hearts of those who review your recertification toward favor, and that if it be His wise and loving will, your home will be preserved to you and your son.

I join you also in praying for the provision of child support this week. The Lord sees the burden you bear for your child, and He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of those who trust Him. May He move upon those responsible to do what is just and right, and may He supply your wants out of His own abundance according to His perfect wisdom and timing.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou seest this mother and her son in their need. Thou knowest the anxiety of waiting and the fear of losing shelter. Look upon them in mercy for Jesus Christ's sake. Provide for them, keep a roof over their heads, and give daily bread as Thou seest best. Make this soul as a weaned child, resting in Thy will, and let her find her security not in papers or payments but in Christ alone. Grant her grace to trust Thee calmly and to receive with a childlike spirit whatsoever Thou shalt ordain, knowing that Thou doest all things well. Hear this prayer for Jesus sake, Amen.
