We are blessed to join you in prayer for your marriage, knowing that God's design for husbands and wives is to be intertwined in heart, body, and mind as one flesh. It is only in Jesus name that we have relationship with God. We delight in your desire to be closer and more connected, as this reflects God's heart for marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband, asking for Your divine intervention and blessings in their marriage. We pray that You, Lord, will draw them closer to each other, strengthening their bond and connection. Help them to desire only each other, in accordance with Your will. We pray this as we follow your instructions
“Be blessed all you that fear Yahweh, both small and great. May Yahweh increase you more and more, you and your children. Blessed are you by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. The heavens are the heavens of Yahweh but the earth has he given to the children of men. The dead don’t praise Yah, neither any who go down into silence; But we will bless Yah, from this time forth and forevermore. Praise Yahweh!“
We ask that You guide our sister's words, making them skillful, loving, and articulate, that they may bring peace, comfort, and joy to her husband always.
We also pray for their stress to be lessened, allowing them to focus on loving and cherishing each other. Surround them with Your protection, blessing their marriage in every way. Make their marriage a prosperous garden, founded on Your unfailing love.
Father, we ask that You make their marriage a testimony of Your faithfulness, a beacon of hope and inspiration to those around them. Remind them of your instructions to us in your word,
“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.“
May they find joy and contentment in their union. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continually seek God's face, studying His word, and applying His principles to your marriage. Remember that God is at the center of a truly loving marriage.
“A wise man fears Yahweh, and shuns evil; but a fool is hotheaded and reckless. A quick tempered man acts foolishly; a cunning man is hated. The simple inherit folly; but the prudent have a crown of knowledge.”
May this crown of knowledge be a healthy, happy, God-honoring marriage. We urge you to keep God at the center of your marriage, never forgetting that your love for each other should be a reflection of Christ's love for His church.
Lastly we would like to remind you of the best way to ask for God's help in our lives.
“He said to them, But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven. I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Then he charged the disciples that they should tell no one that he is Jesus the Christ.”
