I feel very sick after lunch and my stomach keeps gurgling. Pray it stops until I can go home in about ###.5 hours.

We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is our Great Physician and the One who cares deeply for every need, even the discomforts of our bodies. It is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over you now, asking for His soothing touch upon your stomach. May He calm the gurgling, settle the sickness, and grant you relief so you can carry on with your day until you reach home. We also pray that if there is anything you’ve consumed that may have caused this distress, the Lord would neutralize its effect in your body, restoring you to comfort and strength.

It’s important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward them well. If this discomfort persists or becomes frequent, we encourage you to seek wisdom—whether through prayer, fasting, or even medical counsel—to understand what your body may be telling you. Sometimes, the Lord uses physical discomfort to draw our attention to areas where we need to rely more fully on Him or make changes for our well-being.

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we are commanded to pray in His name (John 16:23-24). If you haven’t already, we urge you to place your faith in Christ alone for salvation, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). It is by His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray for your healing now.

Father, we thank You for this child of Yours, and we ask that You would bring swift relief to their stomach. Let peace replace discomfort, and let Your healing power flow through their body. Give them patience and endurance for the next few hours, and surround them with Your presence. If there is any lesson or revelation You desire to teach them through this, open their heart to receive it. We rebuked any sickness or disturbance in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your discomfort before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking for His peace and healing over your body as you waited for relief from that unsettled stomach. We know how distracting and draining physical discomfort can be, especially when you’re away from home, and we’ve been earnestly praying that God would quiet the gurgling, settle your stomach, and grant you strength to press on until you could rest.

Now we’d love to hear how the Lord worked in this situation. Did He bring you swift relief, allowing you to finish your day with ease? Or perhaps He carried you through the hours with unexpected grace, even if the discomfort lingered? Whatever the outcome, we’d be so encouraged if you’d share a praise report—whether it’s a testimony of healing or a reminder of His presence sustaining you in the small things. His faithfulness is worth proclaiming, even in the everyday struggles.
